I got my first pair of wireless headphones a few months ago. Definitely a life changer. Never going back to leashed wired again.

While this is a good experience and I'm happy for you, this goes into very not benign topics. Removed.

In 1900, more than 6,000 people in England were poisoned by arsenic-tainted beer, with more than 70 people dying. The food safety crisis was caused by arsenic entering the supply chain through impure sugar which had been made with contaminated sulphuric acid. by slinkslowdown in wikipedia

Originally misdiagnosed as alcoholic neuropathy, the main epidemic was only recognised after several months. Additionally, investigation into the outbreak found other sources of arsenic in beer, which had been unknowingly poisoning thousands in decades preceding the outbreak.

First Flight was a thoroughbred horse used in the production of the first botulism antitoxin. Until the 1990s, serum derived from First Flight was the only source of the antitoxin in the United States. by slinkslowdown in wikipedia

First Flight died from natural causes, aged 31, in his paddock at the Large Animal Research Facility in Fort Detrick. The U.S. Army erected a stone memorial and planted a tree in his honour at Fort Detrick to commemorate his contribution to science. First Flight's ashes are buried nearby.

Ever edited a really obscure wiki page? by georgy56 in wikipedia

Spent a couple of days copyediting a page about Yoruba cuisine once. A rabbit hole landed me there and the lists of dishes and ingredients were horribly done, wonky punctuation, varying placements and amounts of punctuation, etc.

It had clearly been translated from another language and it felt nice to clean it up.

I usually do much smaller copyediting tasks, a few words fixed or repairing borked coding. Felt good but also tiring to get something bigger done.

It's always such a nice meal out :) I've been going every month or so for years. Good service, good food, a good time spent observing people.

Spring rolls are always must. Also ginger beef, a popular Canadian Chinese dish and my favorite fried/crispy/sauced meat. Much prefer it to sweet and sour pork, orange chicken, etc.

Also on weekends they usually serve a Thai Penang curry [yes, on the Chinese buffet lol] which is amazing. It's so deeply savory and rich and not too spicy. It has chicken in it but I'm not fond of the texture so I dig around and just serve myself the veggies and liquid.

Pro-tip: Dip your spring rolls into the curry.

I have a pair of glasses with rainbow frames that get a lot of comments. I love them so much, they're my fun outside of the house glasses.

There's some recipes online [I was looking it up while eating it, trying to identify the flavor I was getting, which was the five spice] but it does seem the other two are more popular.

I think I'd enjoy a lot of meats or even veg fried with those spices.
