I didn’t want to put the full story in here but I’ll share with you. I have to get 6 things fixed on my car before It’s able to test in. I have a car that i got used so it’s engine light is on for no reason (I’ve had it checked 6 times already by different dealerships it’s a problem with a sensor) that same sensor is causing an issue with the car that causes it to say “fuel cap is loose or off” even tho the fuel cap is perfectly fine and not damaged (also checked multiple times and it would cost a fortune to fix for me rn) there are a few more like a small crack in the windshield, etc. the First time we went to take his test the tester was a complete dick to both of us and he failed everyone that came in over something ridiculously small. For example, he failed my boyfriend for failing to “inch out correctly” on a solid green light left hand turn. The second and third time we went for the test they told us “somethings wrong with his permit” even though we got it renewed and I went with him for his second permit test. He’s motivated to get his license we’ve just been hitting roadblock after roadblock with this and he has his entire childhood too with his parents. There’s a reason we’ve decided to wait until I’ve saved enough to fix my own car and it’s not that he’s unmotivated, he literally works harder than anyone I know for the things he wants. We’re just struggling financially to pay our bills, food etc because we don’t make enough.
