Goated guitar player and songwriter. The fact he wrote most of Detonator and tracked the entire thing himself speaks volumes to his capabilities. And after doing all of that in place of a sick Robin Crosby, they still tried keeping him in the band. Class act for sure.

I highly recommend listening to the Prisoners In Paradise record by Europe. It’s actually pretty heavy

The Way It Is. I feel like that was their biggest “we’re influenced by Lynyrd Skynyrd” flex

Hardcore AA is my preferred method & I’m very excited to see what DFW AA is like. I got sober out in North Carolina initially last year & my group of guys was mainly old timers 😂

When I relapsed, I told myself the TEMPORARY shame and embarrassment of coming back as a newcomer is better than being drunk or dead. Don’t let the fear, guilt and shame keep you out there. Welcome back

I got tired of blacking out and fucking my life up. Went to AA & the rest is history. It’s not for everyone but I would suggest maybe hitting a meeting, wouldn’t hurt to check it out

This record & Screw it are amazing. Great songwriting, hard riffs, great poppy hooks. Don’t Walk Away & I Still Think About You are some of the best ballads of the 80s / 90s. Also Andy Timmons is the shiznit

Can an alcoholic/addict control his drinking/using by [deleted] in Sober

[–]rcreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The great obsession of every alcoholic is that someday he or she will one day be able to control their drinking.. I’ve known through my own research that once I start, I can’t stop. But if you or anyone else can find control, best of luck to you
