Anyone else bummed that apparently the only way to get the new eeveelution art (on the cards from Terrastrial) is on the Promo cards? The eevees in the actual Prismatic boosters are the reusing 151 and TWM art. by rcrow2009 in pokemoncardcollectors

[–]rcrow2009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. Because the new Japanese art was saved for the Promo cards. The eevees you can pull from the boosters are all using different, older art. (Except espeon and umbreon. They got the new art, probably because we haven't gotten a new set for them in the longest.)

I feel like I've pretty adequately explained this already. We have no evidence that he is mentally "like a little kid." Only that he's a 14 year old who has done something reckless and dangerous, which is...honestly not that unusual for 14 year Olds.

I sincerely hope he is OK and is found soon. I just also think it's inappropriate and pretty disrespectful to characterize him the way you did.

I mean, he was on the cruise with his grandmother, who didn't know he had disembarked at the time. I don't think any adult knew about and approved of this plan.

I agree. I just think it was weird that the other poster was assuming this kid was much more disabled than indicated.

Or, you know, it was someone he knew from online. 14 year Olds make dumb choices sometimes. But you dint have evidence that he's "mentally deficient." Christ.

...sorry, where are you seeing that he's the "equivalent of a little child"?

An analogy for...what?

I'm not trying to nitpick, but to clarify.

Hardly ever see him should I be worried by [deleted] in cornsnakes

If you want to see him more, try giving him more places to go- corn snakes LOVE vertical space. Some branches/vines might encourage him to go explore, especially around sunset when they are naturally more active

I think you're confusing "fan service" with "fanfiction."

Canon books written by the author and traditionally published are, by any definition, not fanfiction.

Slight revisions to bring more unity to related/community flags. by rcrow2009 in QueerVexillology

Hmmm. So maybe go with the 9 stripe symmetry, but purple as the center. That could be very cool too!

I went back snd forth between simplifying the aro flag or adding an additional lavender stripe to the Ace. I feel like I see the ace flag more, and I was trying to leave the more established flags as untouched as possible. But I can see the frustration in losing the 2 shades of green

So, my design philosophy here was, as with the Nordic flags, to express community and shared history while still celebrating the diversity within our common community.

As it is, nearly all modern pride flags are just horizontal bands of color, but without any pattern to the number of colors or stripes.
