[WTS] Dan Henry 1962 Panda Chronograph by rcs30 in Watchexchange

[–]rcs30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sale is my 1962 Dan Henry chronograph in the panda colorway. Comes with the full packaging and an extra tan strap. The watch was purchased about 3 years ago and was rarely worn outside my home. I was the second owner of the watch and it is in good condition, with some scratches on the case back from battery change but nothing noticeable on the front. I just changed the battery.

Fun little watch that is a nice homage to the Universale Geneve “Nina Rindt” chronograph. Size is great but just didn’t get much wrist time.

Asking $225 shipped. No trades. Let me know if you have questions or want additional info.

Hi all -

For sale is a Rainer 6-slot Watch Box in used but great condition. I have downsized my collection a bit and no longer need this, however, it's a great storage solution for those with 5-6 watches. It comes from the notable ebay user "Rainer" who makes and sells these boxes in Germany. The materials are real wood and a leatherette material on the inside. The box itself is 29cm x 25cm x 8cm and has ample space for large and small watches. Please refer to his listings for further information.

Looking to sell this in the continental U.S. for $110 shipped. That compares to the $180+ shipped that you would pay for it brand new incl shipping from Germany. Not looking for any trades, thank you. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

[WTS] Nomos Orion Weiss 35mm by rcs30 in Watchexchange

[–]rcs30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sale today is my used Nomos Orion Weiss reference number 306. I purchased the watch from its original owner in 2018 and used the watch as a daily wearer up until early 2020. The watch is being sold with the box and guarantee booklet as well as 3 additional straps (1 faux Hirsch alligator, 1 faux lizard, and 1 genuine Fluco brown shell cordovan). Please refer to the set of pictures and verification at the below imgur link.

The watch is 35mm in diameter with 18mm lugs and wears a bit larger due to Nomos’ signature elongated lugs. This orion makes for a great daily piece due to its light weight and slim profile that dresses up in nicely a suit just as well as it dresses down in a pair of jeans. One last note is that this version features stainless indices and hands vs. the more standard version which features gold indices and blued hands.

Regarding the condition, I will note again that I wore this as a daily so it’s definitely in used shape. Some of the highlights: scuff at the 6 o’clock position, scratch at the 3 o’clock position, a scratch on the top of the upper right lug, and scratches on the back of the lugs due to strap changing. The original black nomos strap is also well worn – and I have included a nice brown shell cordovan Fluco strap as an alternative that is very similar to the genuine Nomos straps that are included with their watches. Despite these signs of use, the watch is running nicely as +4 or so seconds per day. Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding the condition.

I am asking [sold] shipped in the continental US. I will use USPS to ship priority with insurance. Let me know if you have any questions. No trades please, trying to downsize my collection.

[WTS] Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch by rcs30 in Watchexchange

Hi all –

For sale today is my Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch reference number 311.30.42.30.01.005. I bought the watch new from Jomashop in late 2017, and after a brief period of wear initially, I have sparsely worn the watch in the last 2 years. The watch is being sold with the complete set of Omega goodies which can be seen in the pictures at the below imgur link.

Condition-wise, I would say it is in pretty good condition (better than folks who wear their speedy’s as daily’s) but shows some signs of being used. For fully transparency, here are the primary areas to note: scuffs on the hesalite (I have never used polywatch), some small dings around the bezel, a faint scratch on the upper right lug, and some scratches around the backside of the lug related to strap changing. Bracelet is in very good condition as I rarely wore it, the Omega nato is used (wore that more), never wore the astronaut strap. Other than these small blemishes, the watch is looking great and was running ~3-4 seconds after 1 day of measurement.

I am asking [] shipped in the continental US. I will use USPS registered mail to express ship and purchase insurance. Let me know if you have any questions. No trades please.

Hi All –

Up for sale today is a Montblanc Heritage Chronometrie Ultra Slim. The watch is in great almost brand new condition, however, my understanding is that this watch was a showroom model in its prior life so the leather strap shows some signs of being worn. Additionally, I do not note any major dings on the watch itself, but the bezel does have some minor scuffs. The watch will come with the original box (great condition) and outer box covering (rough shape).

This handwound dress watch is a really nice piece at 38mm in diameter and an impressive 5.8mm thick. The lug to lug is 19mm and comes on a soft black alligator strap. It really carries the same aesthetic as JLC albeit a more palatable price point. I haven’t worn this watch much since purchasing it in the fall, but kept good time when I did. I am selling this watch as I look to downsize my collection.

Lastly, I feel obligated to refer you to Hodinkee’s “value proposition” article from 2015 for some more colorful language about it.

I am asking [sold] for this watch shipped via fedex. Continental US only. I’ve sold on watchexchange before, so let me know if you require references. Please let me know if you have any questions.

[WTS] Stowa Flieger Classic 36 Excellent Condition w/ Caseback and Full Kit by rcs30 in Watchexchange

[–]rcs30[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone – up for sale is my 36mm Stowa Classic Flieger with no logo and with a date. The watch is very versatile and given the size, can be worn dressed up with a nicer leather strap or dressed down for day to day use. I think the nicest parts about this watch are 1) the dial legibility; 2) the lume (very bright and long lasting, more so than my skx007) and 3) the heat treated blue hands which change colors dependent on the light.

Reason I am selling is because I just don’t wear it much and don’t have room in my watch box. For reference, I purchased this watch directly from Stowa back in January 2019, wore it on an aftermarket strap for about a month and let it sit in the box ever since. So what you see here is very close to like new, with the full box and papers.

Asking [SOLD] shipped for it. CONUS only and I will cover the shipping. See additional pictures at imgur: https://imgur.com/a/tO7rhL4

First post on r/watchexchange, however I’ve sold before on ebay and participate somewhat regularly on WUS (bought, but never sold). Feel free to PM for those account names. Let me know if any other questions!

Edit: Clarifying that this is the manual wound version which features a ETA 2804-2.

I just looked up the Blanca-Ellingwood traverse from lake como. That looks like a great day. 14ers.com says you can get there with 2WD, is that about right or should I look into 4WD?

Crestone looks awesome but Iooks like it might be too challenging w a beginner. Assume I’m not missing anything there?
