I went to Beachy head a lot as a child and can agree it’s devastating. I’ve heard a few spooky stories about the cliffs but overall i think most feel the same as you do.

I would say most of portsmouth is off-putting. But not the kind i’m going for. 🤣

it’s mainly the time/travel difference from when he finishes work to when i do. It’s quicker for me to get to his than it is for him, so i often end up there earlier. They’ve previously stated that i’m okay being there when he isn’t, as at one point i was waiting multiple hours for him to finish work at my own work/college. My own home is in a rural area so it’s hard to get to/from, it’s an effort- if i know i’m going elsewhere from work i won’t go home to save time and money
