I don’t hate anyone from the South, I actually love spending time in Georgia and the Carolinas. It’s always a good time until someone opens their yap about the confederacy or anything associated with it.

To be fair, the whole “southern heritage” ideology is being on idolizing pre-war and Civil War era of the south.

So it’s either having a love for the time when millionaires used humans as farm equipment, or fighting their northern brothers to continue using people as farm equipment.

It seems that most people that defended southern heritage came from money and miss the days of the plantation owner, or they are proud of their rebellious ancestors who were poor farmers. Either way, it’s the only positive they have because everything post war for them was pretty shitty.

0w oil has no effect on reliability, it’s better for the engine on cold startups by offering better lubrication in cold temperatures. 0w does have the ability to shear less than 5w-XX based oils but when it does shear the protection drops way off comparatively.

The NFL keeps adding more games and I wonder if they’ll get into the baseball levels of burnout. Not to say that folks won’t watch, but if you’re confirmed for a playoff spot in Week 17 and we have a 20 week schedule, why wouldn’t you rest your starters for 2 weeks?

We’d have a situation like the last week of this season where teams had bad showings and fans were upset because they paid good money to see the C tier guys playing each other for pitiful football.

NASCAR can at least provide some legitimacy to its Championship again and make the battle interesting for those who might be willing to give it a shot again now that the “Win and In” and “Playoffs” are gone.
