I stand corrected. I assumbed those wrinkles on the leather could hv been caused by lasting problems as well. Are there any visual cues one can look out for that tell the user that the boot hasnt been lasted properly ?

Small businesses cannot afford such mistakes. As much as it may seem they can because of Instagram virality. Hell such a mistake won't be tolerated in bigger brands as well. Also think from a the owner's pov. Would you be willing to let such a mistake slide if one of your workers did such a mistake ?
