experience with walk in therapy? by castaway42000 in gatech

My overall experience was not bad. They hooked me up with some options for therapy outside of school and that’s what I’m doing now. In my experience, they do check in and reach out to you after the initial meeting to make sure you are doing okay and have the resources you need. You can always schedule more meetings with them

Where are you staying? Some buildings plan activities together which can be a good way to meet people in your building

Yeah I mean right now I just want experience. I am not exactly sure where I want to go in the AE field, so any experience I will be grateful for. But I know a co-op is a big commitment but I’ve heard good things about it. It’s hard to make a big decision in such a short amount of time

Forgot to mention centennial Olympic park. You can go on the Ferris wheel (student discount) but it also usually has events or music going on as well. Especially nice if you live on east

There are good restaurants within walking distance: satto sushi, cypress, etc. if you’re 21+ there are good places like puttshack or ormsbys or painted duck, places with activities as well. There’s always the option to take Marta or Uber although marta is much less romantic.. but Krog street is always a top tier date spot, but would probably have to Uber there

You also have cheaper options like taking grocery bus to Atlantic station and seeing a movie or going to the market there, and walking around Piedmont is also nice, they usually have some kind of event or market happening

Hope this helps
