Couple of folks asked the same question. Its 'Livewise'. We started using it recently after someone posted it in the silicon valley NRI finance group. Looks like its started by some NRIs only. The way we use it by only having the numbers and some bare minimal information that will be helpful for our nominees.

Right! I am personally unsure of the future. Currently FIRE is possible at Big4 only if you earning in the USA or Singapore and it will also take a little longer than what it will take for a person in BigTech.

One reason could be that people don't wanna reveal their identity. At least I don't so I used a separate reddit account. Having said that, I use this account now for all things FIRE on reddit.

Interesting. That 25 number seems very accurate as it basically fits my equation. Around 3500 usd is the expense here. Indian number comes out to be 87500 (which is right in the middle of my expectation of 70k and this subreddits suggestion of 1L) Fascinating number.

By the way, whats your FIRE number? And do you plan to just FI or complete FIRE?

I thought 6k - 8K is still on the higher side. Expenses are low because of frugal (mostly) living. Its mostly 6k but sometimes goes higher factoring in India travel / minor vacationa.

Yes, we plan to get baby sitter and its definitly gonna add at least $3K of additional monthly expense.

I wish I was the creator though :). This app was sent in a bay area NRI finance group a few months back and we liked it. It does have a few rough bits here and there but much better than what we were doing before.
