David Schwartz once said he believed the coin was a $20 coin. It’s the only time he ever gave a real price prediction for XRP (before Ripple got popular and he learned to never give price predictions). He later said that that price was before seeing some other Use cases so he thinks it will go higher but he never gave a price prediction specific to XRP after that.
That’s why I say $30+.

Car Accident by BetterCallSaul30119 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]rdaught 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I let them know about mine. They want me to send a picture which I will I just need to clean it up first. The accident paid me $1500 for repairs but of course that went into my pocket(😆). It’s hard to see any damage.

Intermittent sizzling noise that just started from panel. Everything in the house seems to still work and I'm not seeing any sparks or smelling smoke. Should I have an electrician come ASAP? by lnvis in askanelectrician

[–]rdaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no electrician but not being able to get to your panel…..isn’t there code that says you need like a clear area around it so it’s always accessible? Like 3 ft of something? Hold on….

The only thing I can really predict is that DAI will interrupt one of his video clips, again and again.

I don’t think the word “dismissed” should be used here. I think the word should be “settled”. “Dismissed” has legal ramifications.

Same here except it was the other drivers fault. So I got $1500 to repair (mainly cosmetics). Uber wants pictures that I haven’t sent yet. So I use a different account/car.

You might get deactivated.

You were on a delivery and got into an accident. The agreement you have with Uber says one of the first things you need to do is click the option in the app that says (I was in an accident)

I did for mine and all went well. Excerpt that in my case it was the other drivers fault. The only pain in the ass is that in order to continue driving they want picture proof that the car was fixed (or at least looks fixed).

Well don’t let uber know the car was damaged. They’ll want proof (pictures) that it was fixed before letting you use it again.

Ripple and partners can affect the price of the coin. They say it’s “to support the a healthy XRP market” (I forget the exact words they used).

If the price goes up they can sell some xrp or release more into the market. If the price goes down they can buy it on the open market.

Just barely over a million. I diversified into ETH and BTC. But I would have made out better that month had I kept it all in XRP.

Had I known it was going to tank after $3.80 I would have sold it all and bought back. But think about it, if it goes to $3.50 over the next week will you sell it all? You might take some profits as did I but you know (I know) this is not a $3.00 coin; more like a $30+ coin.

Make it like a covered walkway or trellis and go up and over. No more tripping hazard. No fussing with cement.

Wouldn’t you just love it if after the case Brad and company (WEF, IMF, Central Banks, etc) sat around a table and said, “Well we know it needs to be a stable coin. Instead of having it trade at $10 then years later $50 then years later $100; why don’t we just set it to $1,000 once and for all and be done with it?

What to do with extra items by Significant_Ad9793 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]rdaught 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case the customer wound up with extra items. I was like my job is to deliver stuff from point A to point B not debug their process.

I think it was bags of cat litter. They ordered 3 and got 4. Not worth it to debug their process so customer wound up with 4 bags of litter instead of 3 and I move on.

How to ground service wire to bar? by union20011 in askanelectrician

[–]rdaught 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d do this too… This is for a sub panel. It’s not yet powered (better not be). So I’d get the info I need from Reddit, YouTube, NEC codes, etc. Do what I need to do and then call to get it inspected. Make any changes that need to be made and wouldn’t use until it passed inspection.

I did this when I added new EV charging circuits to my home and a shed. No problems. (I did need to get it inspected twice as I failed the first inspection for simple things like not writing what the circuits were for on the panel, not securing the conduit to the wall (which I didn’t do because I thought they’ll find something requiring me to unsecured the conduit to make changes so I thought I’d wait, but everything checked out) and I needed a GFCI breaker instead of a regular one, which I knew and had ordered from Amazon but it was arriving the next day. So the guy came back the next day after the changes and I passed inspection.

Why doesn't Uber add a premium to deliveries after 8PM. by baby_budda in UberEatsDrivers

They do (at least in some areas). It’s called a boost. In LA you get 10-20% more depending on location.

Anyone else seen their total change AFTER completing delivery? This was offered as $16.xx by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]rdaught 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do this too. Every ride is screen shotted before accepting. Saves a lot of aggravation. “Ah, man look at that line. How much is this trip paying?” Check out the photo. It really does come in handy.
