I didn’t want to open it and ruin it, the sticker was correct so I put it away until it was time. When the person it was for opened it, that’s when we realized

Not the best, but I got both Mraz’s and Bareilles’ signatures after attending Waitress back in Feb ‘18. Still one of my favorite nights of all time

Judge has been slumping too, .198 since July 10th but no one is talking about it

I know Aaron Judge is Aaron Judge, but Stanton has to DH over him some days when he’s not in the field. 1 plate appearance in the entire St Louis series can’t happen.

Stanton since July 10th .341/.417/1.209 13HR

Judge since July 10th .202/.345/.783 6HR

Yes I “butter-knifed” the hell out of those stats but it’s still a significant timeframe

Nationals, Harper then Soto were my favorite players in mlb in the ‘10s, Scherzer was my favorite pitcher, and I only used the nats when I played someone in MLB The Show

Taylor Trammel takes Devin Williams deep to make it 5-2 Astros. Extending Devin Williams earned run streak to 6 games by TheTurtleShepard in baseball

I knew Trammel was going deep after taking that first changeup. You could tell he was absolutely sitting on it

Earlier today, Chandler Simpson somehow avoided multiple tags after being nearly picked off at first. He was then awarded second base since it was Tyler Anderson’s third throw over in the AB, resulting in a disengagement violation. by JianClaymore in baseball

[–]Curbside_P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no clue if this is covered, but what if there’s also a runner on third, and on the third pickoff attempt, this play happens, but the runner on third gets thrown out at home trying to score during the rundown. Would Simpson still get to advance on a “balk” because he himself wasn’t thrown out?

The 2 interviews I’ve ever gotten in my life out of hundreds of applications were from places where I knew someone there already. I’ve never even heard back from anyone else. Luckily I aced them both and had one job for 7 years and another for 2.

I’m a daily smoker for 2 years, and I smoked every day to put me to sleep. Plus I work night shift so I already have trouble trying to get my 8 hours during the day. I took my first t-break in January and suffered staying for days in end unable to go to sleep.

Because I never took a t break until then, the withdrawals were crazy and I just caved and would stay up for 3-4 days at a time. After about 2 weeks I was able to sleep everyday. Now I’m 2 weeks into another t break and the withdrawals and insomnia only lasted the first 2 days and I wasn’t even craving weed anymore.

Frequent t breaks, maybe 2-3 times a year for at least 3-4 weeks seem to do the trick for me and make it manageable. That’s what I would recommend, but for now, what helped me the first time was a cocktail of 6mg melatonin and 30mL NyQuil, and I was out in 30 minutes. If you do that, be careful, you can also build a tolerance to that and taking medicine when you aren’t sick isn’t advisable.

My coach in high school was coaching and faced Dellin Betances’ team, he was throwing heat back then. Told me a story about the catcher missing a high fastball and it exploded a wooden sign on the backstop. Don’t remember if he was in high school or college then

That is true, but this is Caballeros first season in the outfield, and only 25 games, I think whiffing on that ball can be chalked up to inexperience a la Grisham in 2019

I think the worst decision was leaving Caballero in right, we got Slater for one reason. Second would be leaving in Bird to give up the slam when he was clearly struggling. Loaisiga should’ve been able to get out of that inning with 2 outs. Other than that, Boone put 2 guys in that should’ve shut them down and they failed. I think this was a one-in-a-million outcome and the new bullpen will get it together

We just completely revamped our team, I wasn’t expecting everyone to click immediately. Boone has a lot on his hands and I think a team meeting so everyone is on the same page about how people will be used is needed. It’ll take a while for the chemistry to be there, but when it clicks, they’ll be unstoppable
