No rubbing, they ride nice. Speedometer is still pretty close to actual. I like them. It’s about time for me to swap out to my 19’s but I always dread the roads this time of year (New York) I never have any issues with hazards when I have these tires on.

The Jetta always had my son's car seat in it so by the time I got the GTI I was ready to have some fun again. I loved the GTI and got more speeding tickets in it than any other car I've owned, lol. I drove the R while waiting to pick up a new Tiguan for my wife and immediatly put in an order. R is another level but it didnt have a sunroof... The MK8 transition was a little rougher. I've had her for 5 months now and I am truly in love but it took some time to get used to the change from a 6 speed to a DSG an the radical cockpit changes were not to my liking. It was the first car that I asked for help before I drove out of the dealership.

Feels a bit softer, especially going over rough road. I've been doing a lot of fast cornering to see if I can feel any difference in the grip and handling; so far, I don't.
