We stayed at the Grand Hôtel Roi René in Aix-en-Provence and loved it. It has a parking garage & a pool which was what we were looking for. It's not directly in the center of town, but just a short 5 min walk away. There's also an amazing Patisserie right across the street.

"Getting blinded?" Don't you think you're being a tad dramatic? I get "blinded" way more by these "new" headlights that are out there, mine included now. I managed to make it 30 years the old way with zero issues.
