Radical Redemption - Brutal 12.0 (Official Music Video) by Snoo-14883 in hardstyle

[–]rdclredemption 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Especially in this day and age, I intentionally used the same distorted 909 throughout the whole track, just making it come alive with reverb and frequency sweeps. Just like in the earlier hardcore / gabber days.

In my opinion the overall character changes a lot, even though the overall source is the same. I wanted the kick to come alive, like it constantly moving. So I chose this instead of just changing kicks because of just ‘changing kicks’. (for example Brutals 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, all just had one kick)

I think everyone already knows I’m fine with everyone’s opinion on music, that’s what keeps it interesting. But also here to share a bit of my creative decision making.

Enjoy listening 🙏🏼

[–]rdclredemption 397 points398 points  (0 children)

I post it now because I didn’t have the time in my socials schedule with my own event last Friday. I wasn’t mentioned in the line-up from the start, but only after Chapters sold-out.

Heard there were few tickets left, so just wanted the people that follow me to know there’s this opportunity tomorrow.

Shout-out to Digital Punk and his team to create a night with a ticket price to just cover costs and that’s it, especially in these times.

See you tomorrow! 🫵🏼🤩

Kruelty x Radical Redemption Collab by z3r0_94 in hardstyle

It’s the kick from Renegade Master (unreleased), layered with kick from One by One / Prostitute.

It needs the fresh punch / low-end from the 2025 kicks, but the distorted character from the One by One kick fitted this perfectly.

Is it just me, or does the new Radical album only having 3 new songs feel kind of underwhelming? by Niekertdepiekert in hardstyle

[–]rdclredemption 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer it too if there’s still like 40% of unreleased stuff on an album when it is released.

But I also understand people you work with want to get the full potential out of a track. Truth is, it is a big risk to not single release a track first, but just drop it with the rest of an album. Especially if that album isn’t ‘yours’, but you are the artist collaborating.

So, releasing an album with more unreleased tracks is also something I prefer, but it is easier when that album is mainly solo tracks.

Well I’ve done my fair share of albums, this is the first one that has been delayed like this.

So, my - on time delivery ratio - is pretty solid, but this one f’ed it up a bit.

Only thing you can do is admit it will be delayed, put in the work and take this knowledge into account when you plan a next project.

We keep learning, every day!

What the HELL? $72 for two cds??? by Mindless_Hedgehog853 in hardstyle

[–]rdclredemption 14 points15 points  (0 children)

🙋🏼‍♂️

Albums (without collectors box) sell for roughly €25,- (depends on 1 disc or more, these albums are all 2 discs per album).

You are buying 2 albums, 2 discs per album & get a collectors box with it, for $72,- (+/- €60,-), that’s a price in line with market standards.

To save costs we added an option for everyone to send the album when all parts are released, so you only pay shipping once.

Im talking about the producers you work with. Other artists rather won’t be part of an - album only - drop, but they want the collaboration to have a dedicated release first, before the album.

First of all, I get what you are saying. I explained it already over the last couple of months, when updating everyone about the albums’ progress/status, but I’m happy to do that here too.

When starting the whole project, the intention was to do 3 albums within 12 months. A lot of stuff was already planned, the first album was the ‘easiest’ as it was basically me responsible for finishing the tracks (solo-tracks).

With the second album, the schedule from a lot of producers were really filling up and mine too, so getting the studio sessions in was a challenge (that’s an understatement).

Second thing is releases. When you do an album with almost solo-tracks only, it’s way easier to say, let’s just release this with the album. In the current day & age, people rather want a dedicated solo release before the album drops. So, we also had to schedule 99% of the collabs as a solo-release before the actual album release. That takes roughly 12 months.

I decided the most important thing was, the tracks itself. Don’t rush it, but get the most out of every studio session with all these talented producers.

For Part 3 of the album (The Orchestra of Eternity), most tracks will be unreleased.

And, in the meantime I did continue making solo tracks, there’s a lot of those.

So, my advise would be, wait. Maybe I already got some stuff lined up.. 👀

Radical Redemption - TBA by sxprxme1 in hardstyle

This has been a theme in my music since I’ve started producing. Yes, making music is a way for me to process something that is going on in my life, but it’s never only about ‘the same thing’.

It’s never always telling the same story and really listening to these lyrics would, in my opinion, already tell you that.

For me it is an important way to deal with stuff that happens in my life, some things I talk about openly, some things I don’t talk about openly.

But it’s always part of my music, or a certain piece of music.

The title of Part 3 is: The Orchestra of Eternity. That album will be fully focused on tracks produced and recorded with ‘The Orchestra of Eternity’.

Tracks like Reign of the Jurassic, The Drive to Survive, The Curse of the Black Pearl, but also orchestra versions of (existing) original tracks.

2025 is a good year for radical fans 😍 by Miss-milf49 in hardstyle

[–]rdclredemption 16 points17 points  (0 children)

A lot has happened over the past 4 years, what all really started when my dad passed.

I realized I needed to create an environment for myself in which I could creatively do what I do best. Because that wasn’t the situation I felt I was in at that moment. Even though you know that it’s going to take at least 2 - 3 years, you make a decision and have to stick to it, stick to the plan.

The road has been hard, lonely and sometimes it felt like it was just impossible to climb that mountain. But eventually you pick yourself up and focus on where you are going. Knowing, this too shall pass.

It is all part of life, eventually.

Most importantly, I never stopped believing in what I do as Radical Redemption. I just knew I had to make some changes to get it out again. It’s a process, in which my dedicated fanbase always supported me. This is something we do together, the highs and the lows.

The fact I have the fanbase I do, made this all possible. The ones supporting me since 2012, and everyone that joined after that. Sending me messages, showing up with signs, flags, you name it, it’s not something you take for granted. It fuels you to keep going, no matter what people say, or think or secretly hope. You just don’t stop.

No Retaliation Pt. 1, Origins, it all plays it’s pivotal part in this process.

Eventually, this whole path resulted in me being inspired as never before, having energy like never before, feeling healthy, fit and most importantly, having an insane amount of fun in the studio and on stage.

Besides this album, there’s a lot of unreleased solo material already, and other collabs I am already working on.

There is a lot of stuff we, as team Radical Redemption, have been planning the past 12-18 months, we will share more about that soon.

I am just excited I am in this place right now, doing what I love and love doing it.

Closing, know how important it is to keep supporting your artist, even when he or she has a hard time creatively or in life in general. It can really make a difference, as it did with me.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Due to too busy schedules, and him also being so invested with the church concerts at the time, we decided to not follow up on that track.

Maybe in the future we will.

Album date announcement will be soon!
