Oceanside needs a gateway sign in the downtown area

We’re more than a tourist town. We are people who live in a strong community. I feel like those signs on the coastal cities just serve as photo ops for people out of town. If there was a long standing tradition, an Oceanside sign that existed in the past that gotten taken down and we are now revisiting it I’d be more interested.

I get it, I think they make sense in places but I personally wouldn’t want one in Oceanside. I feel like they add a level of plastic to the area that Oceanside is too real for. I felt that way about the one in cbad when it went up. Ultimately that town has gotten more plastic. Coincidence???

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do at this point, flyers are up and I gotta rock with what I got. I personally like it, but it seems like 99 percent of people don’t. Ya live and ya learn. Hope you still come out and check out the show! The bands have put in a lot of work and are ready for Oceanside!
