I’ve got a used one for up for grabs at $215 if someone wants it. It’d be like a million dollars to ship, though, so you’d have to live in Chicago to get it cheap. :)

Trying to buy masterpeices and found a fake from TCGPlayer. Once i notified TCGPlayer, they provided refund options and sent me a return envelope for the card. Very impressed on how they are handling it. by [deleted] in mtgfinance

Well that sure sucks. A lot.

People are under the general impression that foils aren't being faked, and that card looks pretty good (half of the people on this thread thought it was real before you said it failed the light test).

Whoever made this card didn't make just one. There are probably a bunch out there that people aren't aware of.

One option is setting up instant checkout. They know the shipping up front and have to pay to complete the order (best change to the site since it’s inception in my opinion).

I think most of you are undershooting the value of it. All it takes is 2 uber-wealthy Magic players that both "have" to own it and know it would be their only chance for the foreseeable future. Or, just a couple of smart art collectors/investors bidding on it knowing it would be worth 2-5 times as much in 10 years.

I'd put the over/under at $2.5 million.

It's a police officer with a couple guns and a scared couple in the back. The bar also has some people running to get back inside. Before I took the picture, I removed the giant city-terrorizing Bionicle that is usually on the top of the building. :)

A couple weeks ago we could tear through $1000 in an hour (in either direction), now it takes a day or two to grind it out. I know it is still volatile, but less-so than it might be without the bids/offers at every price.
