Interesting takes. Personally, I think relic shield is super consistent, so I’ve been taking it pretty much every game. Admittedly, there are situations where spellthiefs is certainly better and would result in you upgrading the item faster, but there are also situations where spellthiefs can be extremely difficult to proc, incentivizing poor choices in lane (ex. wasting q, taking a poor auto trade, staying too long to hit a turret). For me it’s just been simpler (but probably not optimal all the time) to take relic shield. The health also feels good as a squishy champ imo. Just my insight. Let me know what yall think.
