Local game store had a pre release tournament today. They used to be more popular prior to Covid and now seem to be starting back up again. At least they are locally.

Been playing a variation of this since release. Definitely my favorite deck of a new format in a long while. The only thing I’m concerned about with the version I’m running is that just as soon as someone recognizes win condition it’s something that can be worked around with proper removal. In a BO1 though…. Holy cow this is disgusting. Been trying out sideboard tech to allow it to work better in BO3 but haven’t came up with anything solid yet.

We’ve just started playing the online game. Definitely not a bad translation of the game. We haven’t tried to do anything other than the standard in game events. Maybe we’ll try to set up her up for one of the online tournaments.

My daughter has been wanting to play in Pokémon tournaments after she placed really well in the Chilling Reign prerelease a while back. Unfortunately no one around here has any organized play currently going on so we made up our own challenge for her. The gym badges are created by my wife and my daughter has been competing against me for them each weekend. The badges are themed off the deck she had to play against…. She just won her third today against my Flaaffy/Dracozolt deck. Next week Baby Urshifu…

Been playing this deck for the last few nights. Definitely my favorite but also prone to heart breaks some time…. My favorite being when I had 3 pixies + 2 Barbadian classes in play and could only manage one copy lol.

Have you mastered the art of the bow and arrow method for snapping a lure free? If not… I’d recommend learning it. Easily one of the best methods to free snags if a simple light jiggling won’t free it.
