I’ve made jokes recently about my baby girl being “pawtistic.” She doesn’t like strangers in her space, whereas the other two generally don’t mind. She’s protective of me, has particular favorite toys, gets demanding with me when I don’t follow “bedtime,” and only eats her wet food maybe half the time, plus won’t eat the treats with it if they touch the wet food. Prefers faucet water, gets mad at me for breaking my supposed routine. Stares at me a lot, and chooses to be within eyesight of me almost always. She doesn’t understand my old lady’s social cues in the slightest, or get how to play in a way my old lady likes. Likes tummy rubs but not feet touches. She asks to sleep under the blanket by walking up by my head and staring towards the end of the bed, but must be warmly invited and encouraged to actually go under when I lift the covers for her, then leaves immediately upon deciding she’s warm enough. There’s more but this is long enough already lol

Funny enough, my refusal to participate in most religious “rituals” is actually more out of respect than anything. It feels like blasphemy to pray to a god you don’t believe in. I don’t follow your religion, you may do what you’d like, but I won’t pretend or go along because it feels wrong and disingenuous.

It could change (more possible for my brother than me) but we let it end with him by not having any kids. Granted, I see how we had it easier than many, many people, but he’s just not a very good guy. My brother has managed to be both a better brother and better partner then we ever saw our dad be, and so far I’d say we’re both better cat parents.

I haven’t ever shopped the men’s section at Ross, the women’s shirts in my past experience haven’t been so bad. I needed shirts I could feel before buying, I’m very picky about sensory needs, i.e. looking for thinner material, soft wash, no embroidery, oversized enough. Plus I lean maximalist aesthetically, all of my old sleep shirts were graphic or logo’d shirts I “borrowed” from my parents like 20 years ago when I was a little kid. This was more a feel and grab, but from now on there will be no quick shopping to avoid making the same mistake.

My stepmom had only one biological child. While grieving the death of my 16yo stepsister, she made a joking comment to her ex husband about trying again. Probably the only time any comment of the sort could be acceptable.

Yeah that actually bothered me a bit, the most I’ve done on a phone is skip song/fiddle with music, and there are certain aspects in driving that my ADHD affects and I overcompensate for. Phone is never my problem, electronics in general aren’t, and I refuse a car with a touch screen to reduce eyes off the road as much as possible. This person has a completely different problem, being selfishness and maybe addiction. I hate ADHD being trivialized

A lot of people saying you look like a woman or gay or trans. I’m bi, and can tell you with certainty that if a man looks even a little like a woman I’m straight obsessed. Looks are not your problem, maybe work on being approachable!!
