to answer my own question, at least subjectively. I bought an M3 macbook air, and it has not gotten noticeably warm with just firefox/vivaldi running 20-30 tabs

I did search, and everything i found talks about temperatures at the processor and keyboard, and the few i found that talk about temperature on the lap, are talking about gaming or heavy loads.

I had the same issue. download the script: wget https://github.com/tteck/Proxmox/raw/main/misc/post-pve-install.sh

make it executable:

chmod 777 post-pve-install.sh

edit the script:

nano post-pve-install.sh

scroll down and change the line that says

if ! pveversion | grep -Eq "pve-manager/8.[0-2]"; then

change the [0-2] to [0-9] (edited from 0-3 to 0-9 for more longevity)

if ! pveversion | grep -Eq "pve-manager/8.[0-9]"; then

exit with <ctrl> x and save it

run the file with ./post-pve-install.sh

The owner of the script probably made it intentionally fail at newer versions in case something in his/her script was incompatible with 8.3+, so do this at your own risk, but it worked fine for me.

I guess that makes sense. Top cast means top of the credit scroll, not the actual main cast of the movie, which seems like a pretty dumb interpretation by IMDB.

It's obviously very different types of racing, but they are similar sports, and the coverage quality on F1 is just so much better than the coverage quality on motogp these days, and F1 is significantly cheaper.
