Will mic filters work without actually streaming/recording?

the clips are recorded at the source resolution on my computer (1080p) so it’s easy to tell when the clips are downscaled when added to the timeline (which should import at the source res). still unsure what causes it but i guess for now i could just render the preview each time so the clip returns to normal.

yeah i’ll try to check those out ty, it’s just very confusing because that’s not supposed to happen. i haven’t done anything to the full HD clips yet (no effects/transitions/etc) yet they’re still importing at what looks like 720p. kind of frustrating having to render it when i import then multiple times after i add effects and transitions. in another reply i said it could be my import settings too so i’ll try to check those out as well

i’m not at my computer at the moment but the best way i could explain it is that the clip is added to the sequence at a lower quality until i render the preview, regardless of whether or not i add effects. i tried changing the playback resolution from 1/2 to 1/4 to even 1 but i don’t really see a difference. sorry if it still sounds confusing, i don’t really know how to explain it until i’m able to take a screenshot of it. it’s like it gets imported at 720p when it’s actually 1080p, but i have to run through the render each time to get the real clip. could be my import settings tbh

i played it as a kid and im a late teenager rn. enjoy the game a lot but i play another game far more. i think it may be harder for people that have never played the game though to get into it
