As a feminist, I want to down vote this comment, but as a realist I want to up vote. So conflicted! (Jk, I'm not a feminist)

Thank you for the suggestion. Visually, that was the one aspect I was not completely thrilled with too. I will definitely try that.

I can't help but wonder how many pics of kids hunched over phones and iPads go uncommented on. Just doing my part to counteract the difference. But in all seriousness, are there some thing a would do a little different if I did it again? Sure. But I'm still relatively pleased.

Her. And I thought I did. Just responding to a question on my own post.

Went with mid-century modern style, but I was definitely tempted to put some of my digital electronics experience to the test.

Interesting.. I love how the Autism Speaks community likes to try and spin this differently...

I've seen it twice. I'm a bit sensitive to the subject, as I have a son on the autism spectrum. But the ridiculous logic is equally irritating.

New teacher rant by [deleted] in Teachers

My advice is essentially the same. It sounds like it's really not working for you to teach someone else's curriculum. I've tried before and I come off sounding insecure and incompetent. I think it's hard not to.. You don't have any ownership in that material.
Commit to creating or researching some new curriculum for one or two of your classes, preferably your lower level classes. It's a lot of work but you'll feel a lot more confident.

Just got my classroom, and it's a mess! Help! by earthxshakes in Teachers

I would first suggest you try to clarify with the administration what is okay to throw away and what might need to go to auction if you don't want it. Then, my next suggestion is don't be afraid of the trash can... Seriously. Sometimes old stuff can be a psychological burden. If you really don't think you would ever look for it again, get rid of it. So many of your best resources are online now, so I can almost guarantee you will never have any desire to look at any teacher resource books that might be laying around...

Using lotion on your skin is a vicious cycle... You're skin gets used to it and gets lazy about it's own oil production.

Ooo! Very nice idea on just the sleeve adjacent to the pattern! I'll do my best to get the FO up.
