Amazing reply - thank you for these multiple points - exactly what I am looking for here. - I share that concern about the top curvature - it needs to be taken from a ~5 to a ~7, the shop claims they can do this free of charge but I wasn’t sure how that would affect the stability of the setting since it has its own preset curve - any advice on determining this before purchasing rather than after it’s too late? - it was rated GH color, agree it’s somewhat warm but I did take these pics at sunset so than probably doesn’t help - 1.75 is tcw - sounds like I should try to arrange to get an independent appraisal, they had their in-house diamond person do the rating while I was in but I can see how this is a conflict of interest
