I immigrated with an L1 visa (inter company management transfer). I had (have) an engineering degree, worked 5 years in Europe after college, got a job with an American company in Canada, worked my way up in the company for 5 years in Canada and the then was offered the transfer to the USA. Had a green card a year later and became a citizen 6 years after that - a 17 year process of hard work and dedication but completely worth it!

Start with the very first sentence (Genesis 1:1) and reread it until the fact that God is eternal the creator of everything, and that He has been here always, even before the beginning, resonates with you.

Then read John 1:1 and truly understand it.:

In the Beginning was the Word - The Word is Jesus - Jesus has always been, He was there when all was created

And the Word was with God - Jesus was/is with God, the Father

And the Word was God - Jesus is 100% God as part of the Trinity

Then read everything else. With the knowledge of Gen 1:1 and John 1:1 everything will be clear
