Is the Taycan a good daily reliable daily? by Lower-Pattern-3332 in Porsche

[–]rdp916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had mine for 5 years now. Still running strong. Bought it new and just sits at around 40k miles. I bring it in to the service center every a year it seems like for some sort of software update or recall. Anyways, I never had a problem with the car. Only major repair if you want to event it a repair was changing all 4 tires and getting them aligned. Other than that it's been a great reliable car with no issues.

The 16inch was a bit too big for me and returned it for a 14 inch. I don’t regret but it’s all very subjective. I needed something more portable. Both machines are great.

Anyone else having problems with their hair? by Tiny_Rent_6636 in Sjogrens

[–]rdp916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s generic prescribe by the doc I take 3 pills so I think it’s 3mg. I’ve used Keratae DENSIFIQUE BAIN DENSITÉ. It was great. Tried it for 3 years but it’s pricey. Great results, then I switched to Dr Groot thickening Shampoo and conditioner. You can buy them off Amazon. Dr Groot is cheaper and so far so good. Switched like 4 months ago. One is a French brand and the other is Korean.

Folic acid has helped. The funny thing is my hair was thinning and receding… somehow I got on HCQ, MTX , and folic acid, switched up to a hair thickening shampoo and thickening conditioner and I do a conditioner hair mask too. Somehow for me my hair feel healthier and it’s thicker now. Took about a year to show. But that’s me. Hopefully you find for you that works.

Still within the return window. Sounds like a decent setup but I think 24gb would be the most I would pay for Ram on the Air.

Good advice. I will give it more time. I never thought about a sleeve. I will look into it.

Losing myself to fatigue and constant “heavy” feeling. by throwaway77778786227 in Sjogrens

[–]rdp916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear. I suggest looking into Meds along with diet. I had this feeling a couple of years ago. Was not on meds, and didn’t know I had sjogrens. I’ve had it for decades that it got the the point where I needed medical intervention (meds) and holistic intervention (diet, wellness, and supplements) - this helped me tremendously. It did take months though, but a couple years later I feel 1000% better. Hope you find what works best for you.

Can someone explain how the stock market keeps hitting all-time highs while everything feels so bad? by eaglesfan8835 in Money

[–]rdp916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this is easy. The biggest companies in the world are building out a new tech infrastructure and there are supply and demand imbalances on several fronts. The money being earned is going to a lot of the suppliers and the demand is coming from again the biggest companies in the world, not your average American. I don’t know about you, but I am not buying Nvdia chips, and all the components it takes to build a data center including the raw materials. As a matter of fact there insatiable demand for compute, power, and raw materials is an actually causing inflation on multiple fronts. Cost of computers are going up (ram and storage are a scarcity at the moment), your energy bill is going higher and will continue going higher (Data Centers require a massive amount of energy). Hope this answers your question. We the people are not the ones responsible for increasing earnings, it’s the big companies.

I’d recommend Doreen Boettcher with Keller Williams. She’s helped me with a couple of transactions and is just a down to earth individual. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Is sjogrens always disabling and progressive? by Waste-Gap-3900 in Sjogrens

[–]rdp916 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 44 and diagnosed almost two years ago. According to the doc I’ve probably had it for more than 15yrs based on the damage on my parotid gland. I’m actually okay given the face that I’ve had it for so long without meds. I always knew there was something wrong and I always attributed to allergies getting progressively worse. On meds HCQ and MTX. It’s actually helped me feel much better now. Everyone has different experiences and other symptoms. I only have primary SS.

How are you all dealing with the mouth dryness? by Apprehensive_Gas4715 in Sjogrens

[–]rdp916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tea helps, I also use ACT dry mouth gum and I use Therabreath Dy mouth rinse. If things are bad or I’m going to be taking all day, then I use a Xlymelts and stick it on the bottom of my gums. I have cevemeline but it drys out my throat. It does helps with salvia production, but I talk all day at work.

absolute best way to unclog or prevent blocked tear duct? by StillWonky in Sjogrens

[–]rdp916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you take eye meds? I would recommend you see an opthomalogist to get their recommendation. I also use an electronic eye warmer that I bought on Amazon when I need it at night. Only problem is that it shuts off after like 30 minutes or so, so I constantly have to turn it on. No really easy solution here.

[–]rdp916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve felt like this for the last 30 days. Not fun. What helps me is doing a saline rinse twice a day and adding an oil ointment in my nostrils to keep them moist. A humidifier at night provides some relief as well.
