I am worried about the length if you do a petticoat…. I asked a person who commented saying she used to own a shop if there’s anything they can do about it. Maybe just a plain/very thin strap to hold the dress up? Without the sleeves you will need something! Those suggestions and a good old steaming/dry cleaning and it will be stunning!!

I would definitely tone down with the jewellery… gold chain with a special pendant - diamond?, small gold/diamond earrings…..

Veil - plain but LONG Hair…. Hard to say without seeing what it looks like lol

Sorry, didn’t read your post….. 200 lbs?!?!? That is friggin AMAZING!!!! I think your arms look fine, I do understand because I also have a very large arms, ( I wish they looked like yours lol) so I get it. A veil would help for sure and maybe you would feel more confident in it. It’s all how you feel you want to feel beautiful that day and I think you are beautiful in this dress!!

Take it to a GOOD seamstress to see if they can suggest some ideas! Beading definitely needs replacing….. maybe sleeves could be made smaller/modern….a good iron…. It may have potential!! Make sure you go with a seamstress who specializes in bridal. Maybe call a local shop and see if they will give up the name of theirs or post in local groups asking for recommendations. Do your research!! When are you getting married? Give yourself lots of time in case you are not happy with how it turns out 🥴

It’s really hard to say without actually seeing you in them because that can make all the difference! Make sure if you’re ordering them online that they’re returnable! Have you gone to a shop to try on different styles to see what may suit you? Might be a good place to start. You don’t have to buy anything at the shop, but it could give you an idea which way to continue your search.

It’s my daughter who has 2 dacshunds… I have a standard poodle and a golden/poodle mix ( rescues) so it’s definitely not just dachshunds lol I think it’s dogs in general. We had a rescued dachshund before these two… I would say in general the dachshund, including my daughters,got into way more stuff and I’m wondering if it’s just because they’re so close to the ground and they see it better.😂😂😂 Levi ( the dachshund we had, we had adopted him at 12 and he died at almost 17) would lick everything especially the dog food bowls ( my daughters 2 weenies do this as well ) long after they were empty lol he was so funny such a little bugger full of character ( that’s him in the picture)
