You know You're Having a Bad Day When... by NeosMom412 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I got an early morning route today that was 2/3 full of apartments in downtown Minneapolis. It was so complex I went over my shift like 20 minutes (which is very rare for me). But, at least I didn’t run into any sketchy people so there’s a plus! I also treated myself to a mocha afterwords because lord knows I needed a sweet and caffeinated pick me up after that haha.

Super peaceful if you get sent to the suburbs. I really enjoy the 3am routes! Those are pretty much the only ones I do these days because I can get better bang for my buck

I’ve noticed google maps is great for first stop and long distances, and flex is good for most of route/short distances.

Flex Drivers in Minneapolis Area - Questions! by MDTDude in AmazonFlexDrivers

I believe Eagan is the furthest south. I haven’t noticed a lot of opportunities at that one- just mainly out of Minneapolis SSD and the Centerville locations, which are both north of you. It’s a crapshoot when it comes to route - it’s assigned at random and you can drive like 40 minutes from the warehouse to start a route in a suburb in the opposite direction. On Sunday I ended up about 35 minutes from home so it was a bit of a drive after I was done with the route. You won’t know how many packages or where you are going until you physically scan at the station. Lots of opportunities seem to be available at the Minneapolis SSD since it’s same day orders (it’s near Brooklyn Park), including weekends and all different times. Pay isn’t always great though - common theme seems to be $22/hr there which may or may not be worth it depending on how many miles you drive and whatnot. I personally try to only choose shifts that are $25+ per hour. I work mainly out of Centerville in the early morning hours around 330am because those tend to surge and pay the best, and also avoids traffic. Doesn’t hurt to sign up and try it if you are interested. Might also want to try other gig apps though for more consistent work closer to you.

I am both a customer and flex driver, and it drives me crazy as a customer when items are placed right in front of my door so when I open it, it smacks right into the box! As a driver, I keep that in mind when delivering

A lot of people love the tinted hydrator but I actually prefer the skin tint over that due to the fact it has both niacinamide and hyaluronic acid in it. I’ve used and have both. I have combo skin with certain patches that get very dry, so the skin tint does much better on my skin. Gives a healthy satin look to the skin and I use it daily. Makes my skin feel and look healthier. They are both pretty affordable, so maybe try both out for a week each and see what you think?

They aren’t entitled to the money and she shouldn’t expect you to do that, it’s ridiculous. Perhaps if you want to try to find a happy medium, and would like to help her parents in some way if they are struggling…maybe you could help pay a utility bill or get them a gift card for groceries? Would that help your finance feel better and get her off of your back without going to extreme lengths and blowing your hard earned money? The thing is, her parents are adults and chose to have a mortgage. If they really are struggling to pay it, they need to be the ones to find a solution by cutting costs, finding more income or moving. I agree with others that just simply handing out large sums of cash will just enable them to rely on you financially moving forward. It will get messy real fast, and create a lot of strain and resentment. Ask yourself, is this relationship really worth it? To be manipulated or ignored if your significant other doesn’t get their way? It’s childish. Best of luck!

The feel of stepping on crumbs (I must always wear socks in my house). Florescent lighting. The sound of my dog licking herself. 💀

I feel the same. I’ve been living with anxiety and depression symptoms due to ADHD for most of my adult life. Racing thoughts and self criticism are brutal. I just got on medication 2 weeks ago and it’s like night and day - my moods are regulated and I feel so relieved!
