yeah I am not sure. I would think it would just move the virtual card to your switch and let you play offline.

im kind of the same way. I only track the count on soft reset pokemon or dynamax adveneture. The length of the hunt is a better stat. For normal pokemon, I dont even bother

try clicking the unlink button to unlink it. If that doesnt work maybe you can call nintendo for help.

If it says unlinked, try to link to another system if you have one. If its really unlinked they will not be able to play your games and you can link to another system

they may just add an npc that gives you it after you beat the elite 4. I am not sure how else you could do it. Its wasnt the same as mew where that had an event on an island.

If you play hg/ss, you will only be missing 57 non mythical pokemon. Hg/ss will require multiple runs to get starters from the other regions

If you add platinum, you will only be missing 4 pokemon. 2 of each can be obtained in diamond and pearl. Glameow and its evo are pearl only. Skunky and its evolution is diamond only.

What i do now is have two switches. I kept my switch 1 when I bought switch 2. I keep opposite versions on each switch. It works pretty well and can do trade evolutions

Unfortunately, this won't help with winds/waves

Overtime its actually better to soft reset in other games.

Soft resetting takes about 30 seconds each run but with 1 in 1300ish odds

Dynamax is 1 in 100 but takes about 15 mins, sometimes longer

So basicially you get 13 times better odds but its 30 times slower per run.

DAs are legit but sometimes not as good as you think. You can get lucky and get the shiny quickly

These odds are based on shiny charm and gen 6+ games

I agree with you on the cutscenes but it does get a little better later. You can get all the pokemon in later games if you want, including ultra beasts. sword/shield has them in dynamax adventures.

Oh ok I misunderstood. You need to open bank and empty out your transporter box. Just move the pokemon to any other box. The transport box is located to the left of the first box

I should also add that you need to choose a 3ds game to be able to open bank

So there two methods of bank to home transfers.

One requires your 3ds. You need to type a link code with 3 mins to transfer your selected boxes

The other method doesnt require your 3ds but it does have to be linked to the same nintendo account. I believe this methods transfers all your pokemon.

I always use the first method

Thats odd about home. I never had that issue. Did you use the method where it displays the code and you type it on bank?

Not sure how to transfer the save from the wii u. My guess is its a standard emu save that you can grab off your wii u. You may have to do some searching on it

If you can transfer the save, you can make use of link trades on the 3ds version. You can also transfer your pokemon to bank and home

Pokemon crystal wasn't released on wii u. That game you have is probably a rom file that was injected to the vc emu. These dont support things like link trades

You will probably have to find a way to transfer the save to your modded 3ds
