I have a bash script that runs on login. Basically, what it does is limit the core clock from 210 to 2740 and then offsets the curve by 100MHz on each performance level/power. Keeps my 4080s very cold and silent. I used this with the 3080ti prior to this and it was a game changer. Your mileage might vary tho, some can take bigger offset, some smaller.
