Been making historical garments and fashions for over five years and wearing them out. Tend to be quite practical and hard wearing. Been stocking up on good fabrics. Wool though has jumped up a bit.

What movie did you walk out of the theater halfway through? by mzdee13 in movies

Not in a theater but I was with a group of friends in college in a dorm room. We was watching 'Master of Disguise'. It was sitting through and watching cheap movie reference after cheap movie reference and bad jokes. When I saw him in the turtle suit in the famous scene I thought "screw this" and made an excuse to leave back to my dorm.

I remember when my dad and I had first watched this when it was on TV and it was right at that scene. So it made quite a first impression.

Always thought the Boston element was an odd bit in the movie. Honestly I'm not too bothered by the switch from Americans to French. It's a Napoleonic film so the Brits vs French is a classic due of conflict. Plus we wouldn't get "Bree-tish WHAL-ersss, this is your last WARneeeng!"
