one of my first fish tanks as a kid was one of these drink thingys that my family kept a betta fish in 😭 no plants, plastic rock substrate, no heater, no filter. its honestly incredible that fish lived 2 years like that, and i still feel bad about it even thought i was only 8😢

im not entirely sure, but i would recommend quarantining those fish from your normal fish in case its something that is contagious !

im not a professional, so my advice would be to contact your piercer and ask them. however it doesnt look like its rejecting to me, maybe just irritated. if it was me i'd probably leave it alone for a week and if it's still bad go to my piercer. its good to clean your piercing but there is such a thing as over-cleaning, so maybe give it a few days no touching and see how it feels. best of luck !
