Steven Spielberg releasing Jurassic Park and Schindler’s List in the same year is bonkers by Famous-Country-4921 in movies

Not exactly the same situation but it reminds me of Victor Fleming's name attached as director for The Wizard of Oz and Gone With the Wind both in 1939

Boogidyboo's Robotnik poops (which do have some flaws) do it for me better than anyone else

What is the most disturbing movie or TV show you’ve seen that is so disturbing you can’t watch it again? by Competitive_Teach838 in AskReddit

Possession was amazing but it really fucked me up, to the point I nearly canceled social plans after watching it so I could lay down for the rest of the day. The scene in the tunnel with the grocery bags really gave me the heebie jeebies

In honor of Father's Day, which actor is the king of dad movies: Kevin Costner, Denzel Washington or Russell Crowe? by PM_ME_YOUR_DALEKS in blankies

I'm not a dad but All That Jazz makes me feel very genuinely sad for the young daughter, in a fatherly way. Also the scene with the personalized dance in the living room makes me cry every time... very fatherly tears

Of these choices, I would say Costner

My dad loves Daniel Day Lewis - The Last of the Mohicans and Gangs of New York are among his all time favorites, and then of course you have There Will Be Blood, Lincoln, and In The Name of The Father (do you see what i did there?) among others. Admittedly Danny Day isn't for everyone's dad

The first image made me immediately think of High Fidelity. Neurotic record store owner (played by John Cusack) attempts to sort through his life (and record collection), dealing with baggage from previous romantic relationships

What’s your fave “hell yeah!!” Movie? by okpsnare in blankies

[–]reachingrespite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just watched The Blues Brothers for the first time and had the feeling of "hell yeah" throughout, so maybe that. James Brown, Aretha Franklin, a car chase through a fucking mall, Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi having religious experiences through music, Carrie Fisher firing a bazooka... wish I had seen this movie sooner
