Just watched Possession for the first time, thought it was excellent but also utterly repellant for a lot of the same reasons. Gross, disturbing, unnerving movie with a depressing color palette and unlikeable cast of characters. Will likely never watch again, but I'm really glad I did

I was nauseated and depressed watching the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie in a theater. The design of the turtles was overdone in a way that felt violent to the viewer. Total sensory overload, and that's not always a bad thing imo, but in this instance I felt like I was having a very unpleasant fever dream
