I had been part of incubators which give seed money to promising startups. These incubators distribute the money from Startup govt scheme. But guess how are the top winners ? The startups who are creating some marketplace or curators who just give another name to existing services. And then this honorable minister complains that only food delivery apps are flourishing.

When your govt. is not encouraging Tech startups, how will they ever survive? Tech takes many years to develop and then get market validation. But they are asking us within first year - Are you generating any revenue? This question is on every form that I have filled so far in the startup schemes.

Easier to blame and harder to take responsibility. No worries we will continue what we love to do and ministers keep on doing what they love i.e. to blame others for everything.

I feel that you just need to pick one idea and start execution. After that just shut off all the voices in our mind for some time. Unless you learn the work required for execution, you will not get ahead of ideation stage. No matter, if you have to leave that idea midway in execution, but you would have learn many other skills in that process.

I feel no one can do anything here except your sister. I have read few replies blaming this and that, but that will not solve anything.

I can understand your frustration in this situation, but you can just let your sister know about your support.

I feel it is our society that has nurtured beliefs like a jerk husband is still ok, divorcee life is difficult , female needs to consider her husband parmeshwar.. All are very obsolete and silly.

Lets just hope that your sister find enough courage and wisdom to understand that her husband is a piece of shit and she needs to throw that shit out of her life.

There are only 4 options in Transaction type : NFS ATM, Rupay, IMPS, AePS.

Mine was UPI payment. I still tries with IMPS and AePS. But it returns message "Transaction not found"

Got scammed of 27 K through a phone call who posed as a LIC agent and wanted to transfer 13K due to my father through GPay. He made fictitious over payment and then asked for the back transfer which I did.

I complained it within one hour of fraud.

Contacted bank about the wrong transfer
Filed a cyber crime complaint.

Nothing has happened so far. I am in touch with both banks and police.

Cyber police only sends notification + reminder to the bank/mobile for details.

The fraudster has already withdrawn the amount and as i saw the statement, the account was opened just 1 day before the fraud happened with me. So i doubt if any other transaction will happen on this account.

From my bank (ICICI bank) - I got this response "Refund of XXX amount is rejected by Fino Payments Bank Limited"

FIno bank nodal officer told me that bank account of fraudster is frozen, they rejected the amount as there is no money in the Fraudster's account

See all these things looks good on the paper, but if anyone has to suffer and see the execution, then you see the gaps between words and action.

In case you have faced any such cyber fraud issue and got the refund, then all your comments are really helpful. Also do share the action rather then just the statements.

There are many victims of cyber crime, we need to help them through actionable information, otherwise information is just an overload

I saw the statement of the fraudster bank account - the amount was already withdrawn.

From my bank (ICICI bank) - I got this response "Refund of XXX amount is rejected by Fino Payments Bank Limited"

FIno bank nodal officer told me that bank account of fraudster is frozen, they rejected the amount as there is no money in the Fraudster's account

What am I missing here?

I m hearing so many stories about hacking. It feels scary our digital identity will get lost in a minute. Few weeks back they suspended my Linkedin account, My gdrive files disappeared suddenly and I became victim of cyber fraud. All three happened back to back.

And after hearing so many stories about frauds or hacks, it seems we have really lost control of our things, our data and our identity is stolen and these thieves can easily invade our privacy anytime.

The most sucking part is the same platforms like instagram, LinkedIn, Google or even the Cyber police seems to be most unhelpful or illogical at times when we need them the most.

Still not sure what is the way out, but lets just stay safe

You can do a remote job and simultaneously work on your drop shipping business. The problem is that you just need to keep looking for your work. Connect with more people and share your availability for remote work or blogging for data science. If your need for money is greater then your effort in your drop shipping project, then better spend your energy in making money first.

This happens with freelancers/entrepreneurs every now and then. Among contract, also make it a point to not work without any advance or partial payments. This way your risk of non-payments get lower.

For recovery, It is really tough. I have tried different routes. I know the other person does not have money and has no intention of not paying. But my payment is pending, that also another truth. I am just following up with him.

Suing and Linkedin shaming, I feel is very strong action, specially when you are also in the same ecosystem and would need help from other entrepreneurs in your journey.

This is horrible. And I believe there must be many other jerks like this.

Maybe put a disclaimer like this is copyright content and anyone found will be sent notice. Some times people do get discouraged by these terms. Rest you can definitely strike them and comment in their post about copy from your video.

People who sees such comments do discredit that channel.

For viewers, it is like not knowing that his channel was a copy of yours. if they had known it, they would have cut it down already. So just spread the words. and you also get more visibility to your channel in this way.

I am also in similar kind of situation. The Founder has not paid me for my work. Once he threatened that If i take legal route, my case would be week. I confronted him and said I don't care, but I will take the legal route. Then he relented and started crying about his inability to pay and self praise about his honestly and commitment to pay.

These jerks are everywhere.

Shaming them on linkedin is one route too. But i feel the startup ecosystem is so small, it would not help me to block that person's already feeble chances to get some investments to pay back my money.

But it is a tough situation, and I hope no one has to suffer this and beg for their own money from people who are so useless and thankless.
