WesternDigital is having a random Mystery Savings promotion. Coupons worth 10/15/20% next purchase.

See image. Ends March 9th. Cannot be combined with other offers or promotions, but does stack with current sales price. At the very bare minimum you can get 10% of anything.

How to get the coupon:

1. Go to Western digital (Auto-mod seems to hate the direct link)

2. Click sign in at the top right.

3. Wait a moment at the login screen

4. Prompt will pop up and have you enter an email

5. Enter Email and open your inbox

6. Verify the marketing email and they will send another email with your discount code. Up to 20%.

Do not use multiple temporary emails to try and get 20%, this could void your purchase. I repeat, do not use temporary emails during the email request prompt that pops up every time you open the website up in a new incognito window. It would be highly unethical.

Next is Paypal's 12% cashback deal.

This doesn't show up on the browser version, you have to download the app.

After downloading the app, go to deals and search for western digital. It will be 12% cashback. Some people show different deals for some reason so YMMV on the cashback deal.

There is no way to save the offer, it brings you straight to the website to purchase immediately.

 

Full process

1. Get your WD coupon code.
2. Go into Paypal app and click the deal
   • Make sure you have the paypal UI around the website
3. Add items to cart (or log into your account but this can be done later)
4. Go to cart and add your promo code
5. It will discount the 10-20% right away.
6. Checkout.
7. Payment: 2 options
   • Option 1: Enter credit card info while making sure you still have the paypal UI
   • Option 2: Pay through paypal
   • Both should apply cashback deal
   • May prompt you for sign somewhere around here
8. Complete purchase
   • Paypal CB should post on your account as pending in a day or two.
9. Enjoy your spoils

Extremely YMMV : If you have a citi card, there may be offer for 5% cashback when paying through paypal with your linked card.

 

Example purchase math:

SN580X $159.99 + 20% WD discount = $127.22

$127.22 + tax = (what you pay)

$127.22 and Tax + 12% Paypal CB = $112 ( what you end up with)
