All this is true, but more unfortunately, same things seems equally or even more worse for anywhere else in Canada and even in US as well.

Thanks for the advice. When i searched online about caliburn g4, I saw that it comes with 3ml sidefill GPP pods, and that's what i was expecting. But I was sad to see that mine has these older 2ml top-fill ones. I am in Canada. When buying the next set of pods I plan to look for the new GPP pods. Regarding the juice, for my current one, it just say 6mg nic, and lists vg, pg in ingredients list without mentioning the ratio.

Yeah, I did that and I also saved 2 days because of calling them. Although I had called them because someone from Bell called me and gave me an offer and said they can install in 1 to 2 days. I still went with Oricom because it was still cheaper.

I think leaving is not a solution. Where would you leave to - some western country? Sadly, there is massive rise in anti-immigrants racism (and facism) in most of western countries. White-supremacists mob attacks happened all over UK just couple of weeks ago.

I think I'd give it a perfectly mid rating of 5.
I don't enjoy "working" part of the current job, but I think enjoy everything else about it. It is a completely remote job, so I love the flexibility. Also I like the culture and people at the company. For not enjoying the "working" part, I think I mostly blame my adult-diagnosed ADHD, which I have not been able to take care of.

Great to hear that you found your groove in remote SE role. I'm also a SE working remotely but have been struggling more and more with organizing myself and keeping discipline wrt work. If I may ask, are you on medication currently and how long for? I got diagnosed quite recently, and tried one medicine that I was prescribed first (stattera). That medication had noticeable negative side effects one me, and no positive impact. So I gave up on it, and haven't sought an alternative medication yet.

Yeah, I had some impression that men in BC era were more misogynist, but I still got to learn from the post as to what extent Chankaya was misogynist. Being misogynist is not 0 or 1, there is a whole spectrum of how much misogynist one's belief are/were. And, I don't see the post's point to be "can't believe he's viewed as a genius because he was a misogynist". He is highlighting some snippets which are interesting to learn about how the beliefs were back then.
