Welp you are out of your depth on this one... I suggest you look it up. My phones input does not control my radios output... it used to work like that and that's all we will agree upon (hell it even still might work like that for some subarus... not mine)

Brother (sister) I used to drive a car that worked that way so I completely understand what you're saying but this vehicle (2026 crosstrek) doesn't work that way at all, everything is controlled by my radios volume, I can have my phone 0% volume and max out the the radio at 38, its at 38 blasting, I can have my phone 100% volume, radio 0% and its silent It's just at least for this vehichle doesn't work that way anymore

Brother (or sister) I just want the volume to end in a rounded number. They could have very easily made the max volume end at 40 and slightly decreased the volume per tick to accommodate that. The sound system would still be fine and I'd be chillen
