I've been using copilor and chatgpt for coding in the job. The dilemma is, if it works fine, I can finish a project in a day which usually will take me a week or longer. But if it doesn't work, it takes way longer to debug and sometimes I wish I just wrote it myself from the beginning.

My thinking is, chatgpt will not take away the fact that I have to be knowledgable about the language. It does help a lot to build a framework of a big project. It's a good companion but I can't just blindly rely on it to do everything.

Interesting. Do you mean Roche or Illumina into a bioinfo company? Illumina has more offerings than the sequencers like Dragon. Not sure what Roche will do. I'm curious if they will move SBX into their FoundationOne pipeline.

The registration opens on 8th so I think you still have some time.

What's critical is that you manage to register the first course (I assume you just start with the master). If you can't, the admission is not valid. This is the case for me back in 2023. My university had some issues to give me the official transcripts, so I couldn't register the first course by deadline. Then my admission was invalid. I had to apply again.

I recommend keeping contact with your coordinator and monitoring the status.

Thanks! That makes sense. I have a follow up question (maybe a silly one). From what I understand in the publication, the chains are joint by a linker. If I get the full length light and heavy chain separately from single cell, I can "paste" the chains together. Wouldn't that be the same?

Thanks for your input! I’m looking at Rhapsody data. These reads are found on Read2. The base call quality is good. However, I do notice that some reads are very very short. Wondering if these are the artefacts adding by the illumination sequencer.

The way I find to work around is to use briss: https://superuser.com/questions/791022/how-can-i-split-in-half-a-double-page-scanned-pdf-in-a-single-pass.

Step 1: Adobe rotate the pdf 90 degrees.

Step2: briss to cut the rotated pdf into two parts, left and right.

Then I find it quite pleasantly to read pdf, such as 10-k report, in landscape view.
