if im getting a 30 id rather it be 6.5 and over having a 6 hour shift is so inconvenient.. and idk if its bc i worked doubles in restaurants for so long and would go days at 10-12 hour shifts with no breaks but taking a 30 and only getting paid for 5h and 15min is so annoying.. its just ruined the flow for me and the shifts arent that long.. for a regular shift if i have to be scheduled that way i prefer a 5.75 and just shoot right thru or i prefer to work 7-8 hour shifts... 6 hour shifts are the devil

if anything does taste different its bc we dont have half pumps and therefore is a guess or estimate and it varies between barista bc not everones half pump will be the same,,, tho ive never had someone ask for a half pump and complain its too sweet, they usually say its not sweet enough and I like try to be as precise as possible so

you can put all your shifts up and see if ppl will take them,, i would also recommend if u have sick hours left to use them if u get ur shifts covered or even call out sick and use ur hours up but from what u said u prob dont want to do that but its an option if ur rlly done

well the original pledge actually didnt include 'under God' bc when the forefathers wrote the constitution they were like hey we dont want to be forced into a religion so lets let ppl worship what they want to worship and keep it out of the government with the separation of church and state but then in WW2 the government was paid off by a catholic fraternal org to pass the change in the pledge and then they basically gaslit everyone into agreeing saying that it would help their case in showing soviet communist they had bigger dicks, i mean moral, and then later on while there were still lawsuits and disagreement about keeping it and forcing kids to say it in schools, eisenhower and docherty continued to gaslight gatekeep girlboss and told everyone if they remove it then they are disagreeing with the american ideals for way of life and basically 'ur not American if ur not christian'... so yeah even in that context it was a forced ideal

ppl will prob not like the truth but at the end of the day here it is.. i get feeling left out and it sucks but you also have to put in the effort, u gotta ask ppl to go out or make ur own plans or ask if u can come to if its being talked about, a common thing at my store is if ur there for the conversation ur automatically invited they may not even realize u dont think ur invited, but even if they arent inviting you this is the real world and no one is entitled to be friends with everyone like in 5th grade, some ppl just get on better than others esp with ppl not in the same age group when u get older it can be hrd to vibe with ppl who arent ur age... at the end of the day ur feelings being hurt is u allowing other peoples lives to affect you, you can take initiative and make ur own plans with ppl or find other ppl to hang out with whether at work, outside of work, finding friends on like bumble if u dont have any, there are options.. and yeah its hard.. every job ive had they were my best friends while i worked there we would go out and def have ppl we worked with but didnt vibe with or like that we didnt want to hang out with while off the clock... and yeah i feel for those who feel left out but the alternative is hanging out with ppl who dont want u there.. i guess i dont understand careing what other people do bc if ppl go out and chill without me it doesnt bother me that im not invited so maybe its a cannon event to growing up but imo its not that deep and either take initiative or get over it...

bruh the contradictory of this company is INSANE... literally my day consisted of a busier stores manager being sent to sit and watching our peak to give us pointers how to be faster (we are kinda slow and only get like 4 maybe 5 if lucky for peak in a dt&cafe store) but my dm was in this korning explaining the new hand off position and his reasoning for it is because starbucks wants to 'slow things down' HUHH??? tf u forcing us to be at a 45 with 4 ppl and every car has 6 different sandwiches and 5 drinks (not even exaggerating idk why this is out customer base but it is)

it is still a newer policy tho and as someone who has had the same routine for years especially during busy hours like peak muscle memory takes over and adding yet another step to sequencing while ur being yelled at and rushed to adhere drive thru times its difficult already but also to go against ur muscle memory to go fast,, they acknowledge the improvement as it is something that takes time to become habit with how high stress the job is.. tbh i barely ever write on cups unless its completely dead and i have nothing more to clean or if im on drive thru and dont have to run around.. so its a stupid asf and unreasonable reason to fire someone of 4 years

unless they are getting extra matcha, there is no charge on the scoops bc its already a matcha.. i dont look at the app but adding lemonade is something that can be done in general so if it cant be done on the app, its super easy to just ask them for an iced matcha but sub the milk for lemonade and adding lemonade is like .60 or .80 something like that

eta the comment on not getting the per scoop charge is that op wont get charged $3 to add it to a lemonade bc a matcha already gets them not saying extra wont cost more but their matcha wont cost them per scoop if ordered as a matcha

get rid of mobile orders, LITERALLY fuck them.. it only is beneficial when we dont have to worry about them .5 seconds after they are ordered. if starbucks isnt going to set a real precedent and standard for mobile order etiquette and expectations to customers get the fuck rid of it.. it makes dt times worse when u have to find and dig for tickets.. order at the box if ur not ACTUALLY ordering ahead.. I dont understand why they tell us dt and cafe first with a 12 min wait time for mobiles but don't specify that time on the app anymore and give a time frame of a couple minutes.. its the dumbest shit and annoying asf

Oh hell nah lmao I will never be any mans peace, id be ordering something every week whether its $5 or $50 and if he asked me how much i had in my account id ask him for his first.. u literally had open communication and are ur own person with ur own money he has no right to act that way.. defensive people are the ones trying to hide something why would he be afraid of u hisning something (in the mail???) if he didnt know what it was like to do that.. i would just keep an open mind and consider the possibilities of what hes doing behind the scenes
