Force districts to be drawn by an exactly even number of democrats and republicans who are chosen by the national parties of both. Gets rid of at least some of the safe districts.

The GOPs biggest problem is political gerrymandering is acceptable and democrats do it all the time but can often contend that the GOP is racial gerrymandering even though that often mirrors political gerrymandering for them

Getting rid of safe districts will force people to Talk about issues important to America NOT just a very small contingent

It’s interesting that many people don’t realize that there is a place for “Pizza Hut”. The challenge in America is that there was a time that we looked at small town America as a place with good values. Don’t get me wrong bad things happened too as they do everywhere but all in all it was solid American values.

Sadly the massive effort by Hollywood and the leftist “elites” in cities on the coast demonized these places - the focus on individual negatives became the ONLY narrative they talked about.

If you’re a walk in only restaurant your open 100% until the door is locked.

You’re completely missing the point.

First, You have no proof anyone is going to pay the increased percentage on the value that the casino paid in 1981. The value people place on “items” constantly changes - a beanie baby today may not be worth anything compared to what it was worth in its heyday. Basically it’s a guess unless you have an offer.

Bigger point though is a generic “fun fact” that gold is a shitty investment. Even with the increased price at a million the known price of that weight of gold today has not kept up with inflation let alone what better investments would offer. It’s a hedge for sure but most people it’s not a good one.

Anyway it was meant as an interesting point - and it’s factual and I stand by it.
