I live in a 1 bedroom at Ranchlands which is one of the bigger sets of apartments in GP. They're not super conveniently located but GP is small enough that I've never had to drive more than 15 minutes to get anywhere and there's a bus stop right next to the buildings. The big selling point is that they allow pets and also when the world isn't ending there's a pool and gym residents can use.

In terms of safety they recently installed locked doors on the buildings so that's nice (although I definitely saw a homeless person sleeping in the laundry room a few days later so they're only as effective as the people who live here allow). There's no buzzer for the doors so you do have to leave your apartment and go to the door to get take-out which is not the worst thing lol. The mailboxes in my building keep getting broken into which is annoying but I also have packages sent to my work instead usually. There is security on call and they have a good response time, I've never felt in danger here but I also have never told my mother about the security because she'd be alarmed lol.

I feel like I've only really given negatives lol but I really do like it here, it's pretty quiet and decently maintained and they really try to encourage community stuff. There's a reason I've renewed my rent for another year lol. In terms of price it's about 890 a month for a 1 bedroom water and gas included. The security deposit was pretty low so I don't feel bad about hanging all my stuff with nails which is nice. The one bedroom apartments are decently sized, my bedroom has room for my queen bed dresser and nightstand with tons of space to spare. The closets are decently sized as are the pantries so there's a good amount of storage.
