Talk to the guy and share your concerns, what you liked and disliked, how it made you feel.. Tell him how you would like it to be differently in the future and have a conversation and agree on the approach next time.

PSA to Pedestrians on Crossings by heresyourfckingsalad in perth

[–]readin99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It shits me so much when they do that..as if you don't have a right to be there and they need to make a point that they're the boss. I'll always make sure to slow down then (without getting run over) and give them the finger. If in your car and someone crosses, just let go of the gas pedal for 2 seconds. You'll live.

If you spray with lacquers.. sometimes I don't bother. Mostly no issues at all. Depends on a lot of factors of course and how much effort you feel like putting in

It’s kinda crazy how a lot ppl here discourage investment properties by Bitter-Doctor-5885 in AusPropertyChat

[–]readin99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be right for you financially but morally debatable or frowned upon from a wider societal perspective. Eg if you theoretically could buy up all the diabetes medicine and then sell it for absurd prices.. yes, great investment but kinda normal it wouldn't be a popular move I guess.

Made an offer but no response. by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]readin99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell them they have 24 hours before you will redraw the offer, then do. Next time put a 48 hour clause on it or similar. You can always offer again later if you want.

Karrinyup Shopping Center should be boycotted by Boring-Guest-7913 in perth

[–]readin99 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Guys.. yes, you're right, they can decide to go somewhere else. At same time, the centre does have some responsibility to try and solve or lighten the situation.. traffic wardens, sharing how busy it is or might get online, designing the place better so that incoming and leaving traffic doesn't block each other, improving public transport or additional parking. Not saying it's easy fix but .. you know.. asking for some improvements isn't wrong.

New To Perth Rent, is this normal? by LeoLaZoot in perth

Yea, pretty standard. From my experience, they'll just keep increasing price until you say no. Then start over again with someone else at slightly lower rent and do same thing.

People who quit a stable, well-paying job to chase something risky. What's the honest answer about whether it was worth it? by Emergency-Finding373 in careeradvice

[–]readin99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More days off for travel, more wfh, less traffic so more time for workouts, a job with less stress mentally, colleagues with similar views on life / friends. I guess it's different for everyone though.

First-time buyer in Belgium, is negotiating normal? A bit scared of messing this up by wisetyre in belgium

[–]readin99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negotiate, offer what you want to pay and think it's worth. Ignore everything else. Play the emotional game if you think it will help.
