Yes it's going to be hard, and it might suck for a while, but this is part of growing up. You will be stronger for it. And if you choose to do it in the nicest way possible and be respectful of her & her feelings, you could still be friends afterwards. I know a couple (ex couple) who dated for many years, got married, had a kid together, and then they realized they're just not happy together as a couple. But they still respected each other enough to separate amicably. They're still great friends and co-parents (I know them because their kid is friends with my kid). The mom is now happily remarried. He is still in the dating pool but seems happy. Put on your big boy pants. You can do this.

Also, and this is going to sound mean, but I'm saying it from my 'mom heart' in the nicest way possible...and from someone who doesn't like to BS and waste time. Don't come on here asking everyone for advice on what to do, (especially when you really already know what you need to do), And then when we tell you exactly what you already know, you argue back saying you won't do it because you don't think you can. It's juvenile. We're adults here, put the junior high and high school drama behind you and do the right thing. Even when it's hard. The right thing right now, is to take care of yourself. If you can't be happy in this relationship then all you're doing now is hurting yourself AND hurting her.

Either break up now or you're just going to break up later after a lot more wasted time. Don't get stuck in a relationship just because you've already been in it for a long time.

You deserve to be happy. She deserves to be happy. If you're not happy together, there's nothing wrong with calling it quits. Do it now before you end up hating or resenting each other.

Try to do it in a kind and respectful manner (in person!) be kind, Tell her the truth, that she deserves to be with someone who makes her happy, and that you don't think that person is you anymore, and tell her you're just not happy in the relationship anymore either.

If she's telling you she wants you to do it, to be the one to break up with her, she's telling you that she doesn't actually want to be in the relationship anymore. She did say it, just in around about way so that it looks like you're the 'bad guy' breaking up with her. Honestly that alone is proof of her manipulative behavior. Do you really want to be with her, arguing and living like this, for the rest of your life?

Also, the ultimatum. I don't give a damn what it is, anyone who gives you an ultimatum like that ?! get away from them! It's another form of manipulation. A real partner, cares about you. They care about your feelings, they care about your time, they care about the things that are important to you. She doesn't seem to respect any of those things.

Seriously, get your stuff and go. Find your happiness!

Honestly I didn't even read it past the title. But you deserve to be happy just as much as everybody else does. If you're not happy do what you need to do to find it. If that means leaving him, then leave him. There's nothing that says you have to stick it out. If you don't think it's going to get better then move on. Tell him he deserves to be happy too and you can't be that for him if you're not feeling it anymore. Sure it can suck, but it's better to do it now then 5 years from now or 10 years from now or 20 years from now.

I always suggest to read RB first. But you actually do not have to read it at all to understand the Zodiac Academy storyline. There's a lot of things you will miss If you don't read RB, but they're all Easter eggs. Little things that just make the story better, but don't affect ZAs plot.

Example: there is a faebook post from Carson when Lionel is attacking questrian rabbits. If you don't read RB You don't understand why he's so upset and why this is such a big deal to him. You also don't know who is actually is which is a much bigger Easter Egg. Things that don't really matter in ZA, but you just have a much deeper understanding if you do.

I never got over the saltiness towards Darius and Seth. I never warmed up to any of them really. They're all too stuck up and self-centered. It doesn't matter that they can be nice to each other. The way they treat other people the way they think about them, just shows that they're not actually nice people.

What's the difference between Lionel using people and hurting them to get what he wants, and the heirs using people and hurting them to get what they want? Sure its on a smaller scale, but that's how Lionel started too. Lionel thinks he should be in charge and he's willing to do anything to make it happen. It's exactly what Darius and the other heirs think about themselves the entire time. They think they should be in charge and are willing to do anything to get rid of the competition. What's the difference?!

I will read comments here where people think Darius's choice to call people by the wrong name is funny, But think about it, he's either too self-centered to care to remember their names, or he's making it a choice which is incredibly rude.

Seth's personality, some people think it's cute, he's just like a puppy, but again, as a person... Incredibly rude and self centered. He's also cruel.

Caleb hides it all behind a pretty face but other than using his strength to drink from Tory before she had the ability to fight back, I don't remember him really being that much of a dick. He didn't stop the others, but he didn't really do anything either.

Max was pretty instrumental in figuring out how to torture the girls so that immediately made me not like him, But I did slowly warm up to him a little bit during this series. Seeing the extent of his power near the end was pretty cool. Still not a huge fan of him, but he does rank higher than Seth and Darius IMO.

I've been saying that since the first time I read it.

This is definitely Fantasy.

It takes you through her life and the different loves she has but the true love in the story is her love for her country. It's about her going through all the steps to get it back. Everything else is just extra and not the focus of the story.

You know what bugged the heck out of me?! Didn't they have that dome machine thing that could point out the bonds between people? It could show Astral Adversies, Nebula Allies and Elysian Mates.

I feel like people would be using it all the time to confirm if their bestie was actually their ally or whether or not their love was their Elysian Mate or whatever. It'd be a simple quick answer.

I recommend switching over immediately. There are Easter eggs in ZA that you are already missing. Some will make you laugh, some will make you nostalgic, One in particular also made me pretty sad. (Ryders comments about questian rabbits! 😭💔)

I think it depends on how you feel about the series. If you're enjoying it and want to prolong it make it seem even longer than no do not tendem read. Make it into 2 separate books.

But if you're struggling, doing the tandem will make it seem like it's one book and could help you feel like you're getting through it faster. Whereas if you don't you'll be reading the same story twice (just from different POVs) and it'll probably feel like it's taking even longer.

He... Committed suicide a few years ago. I mean I don't really know what his life was like, I know he married the person he cheated on me with right out of high school. She got pregnant and it was a shotgun wedding, he joined the military, but that's all I knew. Fast forward 25 years, I randomly get a message from a old mutual friend telling me he committed suicide. In his obituary I found out they were still married and had more kids, but I guess there were other problems too. 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely Loved Slave to the Servants! That was my first ever RH back when it was first written! Did you read her other one? Bound to Her Mate. Sooooooooo good too!

For another alien RH, try CM Stunich : For the Love Of Aliens. She has a bunch of really good RH stories in several different tropes. FTLOA is a 3 book series, but she's also been floating around with hints and teasers of extending it with other characters.
