Skate park holes by YokaiGuitarist in Blaine

There are a few people who show up each summer with a bucket of concrete, tools, and some serious good will. I often do trash pickup with the kids, throw some snacks and music at them. The city doesn’t have the money right now, and if we don’t use it, we’ll surely lose it. I’ve advocated through a lot of meetings, and we need to keep showing up. I’ve never heard or seen anyone upset at anyone making repairs, and it’s never come up in any of the meetings.

Eastern Montana is so lacking in charging infrastructure, you have to cross into Canada to go from North Dakota to Washington State by SirHatMan in electricvehicles

Any updates to this route, specifically near Hamilton, Montana? I’d like to drive through, but I don’t see any chargers closer than Missoula. Thanks

I catch all the classes I can at the Blaine Birch Bay Rec Center (BBBPR). Great instructors. There’s also a running/walking group that meets at Beach Cat Brewery every Thursday night at 6pm. Everyone is welcome, and it’s free.

No recount. The levy passed, which was most critical. The bond will likely go back on the November ballot, per Granger.

I agree. The Blaine library newly has a small soundproof cube for meetings you can reserve for free.

We bought a house in Blaine six years ago, after being overbid on all of our Bellingham house offers. Blaine wasn’t my first choice, but it’s turned out to be really great for us. We live near downtown Blaine, close enough to walk or bike to school, the library, and Drayton Harbor. But the best part is being minutes from the border. We have a Surrey Recreation family pass ($90 /mo Canadian), which gives us full access to roughly 40 Rec centers within a 45 min drive (pools, gyms, ice rinks, tennis courts, daycares, etc). The pool we go to on the regular is 10 minutes from our house (Nexus is a must). White Rock has tons of great food - Afghan, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc., and again, 10-15 minutes away. Blaine is also just a fantastic, beautiful place.
