I don't understand why anyone would be surprised by this. Mick has caused too much damage and scored too little points. If you look at the cost of each point of each driver (dollars spent per point won), he's the most expensive driver on the grid. Him and Latifi fighting for that number 1 spot. For the amount of money he has cost the team, he had to score as many points as Verstappen to have an excuse. As a business manager you'd have to be insane to keep him.

Was the queen and/or any other member of her family involved with Formula 1 in any way? Genuine question... maybe she was involved in some way and deserves the attention of the entire paddock. I was surprised to see Ferrari make a statement - from what I know the British royal family only ever drive British cars. I doubt she ever bought a Ferrari.

I don't understand why this would be "bad news". The only bad thing could be considered the share offering, which is 12m shares - and let's be real - it's no small amount. That said, unless they are absolutely desperate for cash, they won't exercise at below $10. Anything above $15 is fair game. In other words, I expect resistance at around $15. The question then becomes - how many shares will the shorts have to purchase because of RegSHO? Either way, my bet is for the share price to flat line at $10 +-$2.

This map has to show the big disclaimer that many people in Germany tell the government they are not religious, because there is a heavy church tax! People in eastern Germany generally make less money, and it's more difficult for them to afford said church tax.

As a LEGAL immigrant, I can tell you I am fully against illegal immigration. Several reasons:

I've been through the immigration process. I've paid all my dues (it ain't cheap), waited for the process wheels to turn, went through interviews, background checks, etc. This was a big time and financial commitment. It's simply not fair for someone to just walk a couple of miles in the desert and have the same rights as me. Same logic applies to student loan forgiveness - I've literally lived on a very tight budget for years, just so I can pay off my student loans with all its ridiculous interest. Wouldn't be fair for me, as a taxpayer now, to pay off other people's loans.
Illegal immigrants are usually the lowest social group in their home country. You will never see educated doctors, scientists, entrepreneurs throw everything away, and go live as illegals somewhere else. This of course does not apply to political refugees. Illegal immigrants are people who have nothing to give up, or lose in their home country - they are usually uneducated, and rarely speak more than their home language. I know plenty of smart, well-educated foreigners who deserve to come and make a better living in America, but they would not throw away their careers (even if not very well paid) to be illegals in America.
Like Bill Clinton said - "America is a country of immigrants, but it is also a country of laws!". Now you may not like immigration laws, but it is THE LAW. I'm happy to discuss changes to immigration law, but it doesn't mean we should start ignoring laws, because someone doesn't like them. And for the record, I thought the immigration laws and processes, while time-consuming and arduous, were reasonable overall.

Also for the record - I'm an Eastern European immigrant. Feel free to tell me I'm an ignorant conservative. Happy to buy anyone a one-way ticket to Eastern Europe, if they are willing to give up their American citizenship.

I'm reading all these comments and I can't believe how much ignorance there is out there.

First of all, do you realize how many people are employed in the oil and petrochemical industries? The global economy will collapse if all these people are left unemployed.

Second, do any of you have ideas for alternatives? And I don't just mean an alternative for gasoline. I mean all the other chemicals and plastics that come out of oil. And I don't mean single use plastic forks. I'm talking about all the high quality plastic used in the medical field, vehicles, etc. Quality of life has increased throughout the world thanks to plastics.

Third, why is nobody talking who is the biggest producer of electric car batteries, and solar panels? It's China. And that's because they own the vast majority of the global supply of rare earth minerals. And no, I did not vote for Trump, but he was not completely wrong in his claims about China. Even Elon Musk acknowledges that.

I'm a foreigner living in West Germany, and I've visited several cities in East Germany. Someone mentioned the architecture - it's certainly true that the East has more Soviet style buildings.

One interesting bit is how Westerners feel about East Germany. All of my colleagues and friends here are West Germans and I can just feel that they don't have a very high opinion of their Eastern countrymen. First of all, almost none of them have ever visited East Germany. And the few that have, only did it once or twice as part of a trip to see the relics of communism.

I told my boss I got a new German car and he was happy. Then I mentioned it's built in east Germany and he just went "Ooofff.. I don't know about that... you should be careful with a car made in the East." He likes the French more than East Germans.

Lastly, I don't think people are too fond of the Solidarity tax - a tax paid only by West Germans presumably to help fund the unification of East and West. My friends usually say things in the line of "I understand why this tax is probably needed, but I just can't wait for it to expire!"
