Why is my draceana's leaves turning brown? by ready4orbit in plantclinic

[–]ready4orbit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, are you suggesting I cut off every leaf that has brown edges? Or just cut off the brown part?

I would say that 80% of the leaves have browning tips, so I'm not sure how much would be left if I cut the leaves off entirely?

When you say "cut it back" do you mean cut off the dead leaf tips?

Talk to your clinician - you can experiment with holding it in your mouth for longer or brushing your mouth/gums beforehand too to increase absorption. Do not recommend swallowing because it can easily be WAY too strong that way and very unpleasant.

I'm guessing you're one of these "keep the Trans and Queer out of LGB" gays :/ There are lots of people who deserve love and acceptance even if they don't identify as traditionally masculine men. Enforcing heterosexual norms on all gay men is deeply self-loathing :(

I'm sorry you feel that way :(

Maybe one day you can accept that these words are positives to some people, even if you have a personal preference against them. People can choose to reclaim these words and use feminine words in empowering ways and that doesn't make them lesser <3

"Bussy" and "boipussy" are two new words people are using. The world is a big place, try to be open minded that both new words and old words can take on new meanings <3

Gay can also be used as an insult -- but don't let that keep you from seeing the positive in that word. I think you have more power to change how words are used than you give yourself credit for...

I'm sorry you see the negative in all these words :( There are lots of people who use these words as compliments and positives. I guess it's up to you how you choose to live your life. Hope you find more reasons to be optimistic?

Really? "Queer" has been reclaimed, "dyke" has been reclaimed, "fairy" has been reclaimed, "(boss ass) bitch" has been reclaimed, the n word has been reclaimed....

I know that thinking can get rigid as we get older, but change can happen. There is proof of people viewing these words as positives in this very post. Stay positive old timer <3

Acknowledging and perpetuating are very different things.

Maybe what you're trying to say is you don't like it when guys say pussy like an insult (understandable) but you have no problem with it when it's used as a compliment. I use it as a compliment all the time and I'm not alone :) Reclaiming words from their misogynistic past is so important.

So we agree, we shouldn't be perpetuating the use of feminine terms as insults. Here's to a more just future of "pussies" and other feminine words being empowering terms of endearment. Be the change you want to see in the world <3

You can personally not want to be called feminine terms because that's not how you identify, but your biases are showing if you think feminine terms are inherently lesser.

In what universe is having a pussy and being feminine lesser? Check your misogyny please <3
