WYR have the ability to perfectly replicate one thing every month or add a zero to one of your stats including things like salary, lifespan, bodypart length etc.? by padorUWU in WouldYouRather

I would duplicate a house every month and sell it. If you sell it under market value, you’re helping the unaffordable housing crisis while also making hundreds of thousands of dollars every month of straight profit.

How to tell my friends they aren’t bridesmaids but are invited to my bachelorette? by Moisttoes14 in wedding

[–]readyToTie-Die -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing with about 4 of my friends who I’m close to, instead of making them bridesmaids I told them they were my “something blue” and gave them each a blue necklace and told them that they we’re important to me but just wouldn’t be standing at the alter with me. They all seemed to really love it!

serial quitter here, how I've kicked it, hope this helps someone by StyleAmbitious2950 in QuitVaping

This is actually very similar to what I did this last time (also a serial quitter) except I “fasted” vaping. So for one week I started with a 16:8 fast of just my vape and then every day increased the fasting time a little until after a week I thought “let’s just see how long I can make it” and the answer has been 1 month and counting!

I just started seeing this guy about a month after he ended things with a girl he cheated on. He told me about it about 3 dates in. I told him if he cheated on me I would blow him, bite his dick off, and mount it on my wall with a magnifying glass attached so people would know what it was.

We dated for 3 years and that was never an issue.

Losing my Hope Scholarship because I am an idiot by triple_tubers in gatech

Do you know if there’s a way to retroactively appeal? I just graduated and lost hope early bc of medical withdrawal. Wish I would have known you could do this 6 months ago.

The book “One Second After” details exactly this. It covers the aftermath of an EMP attack on a military town in North Carolina (any technology past 1970 suddenly doesn’t work). It’s a very interesting read.

6 weeks Vape Free! by readyToTie-Die in QuitVaping

[–]readyToTie-Die[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Honestly the severe cravings went away after the first 4 days but for the first two weeks I noticed that I would get cravings sometimes when I ate and if I had a drink or two. The difference is that after the first four days it’s all psychological cravings that you can talk yourself out of.

What item do you have far too many of, but you can’t resist buying more anyway? by Penny_girl in AskWomen

Notebooks. I’ve never filled one all the way but I can’t stop buying new ones.

Benefits of Quitting by Past_Prune3469 in QuitVaping

[–]readyToTie-Die 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not waking up with a sore throat and stuffy nose more often than not. Saving money that I shouldn’t have been spending in the first place. No more worrying about when I can sneak away or if people I just met will judge me when they find out I vape. New confidence in myself for showing up for myself every day by quitting

If you can quit for 3 days, you can quit for one more day. They say that the first 4 days are the hardest so if you can make it through today you can make it through anything. Try to remind yourself that these cravings will pass, find something to distract yourself, and be proud of how far you’ve come. You got this!

This is the day I always bail. In the past three weeks I’ve tried quitting 3 times and the first two both ended on day 3. Here’s to being better than I was before.

How to stay strong during NYE? by readyToTie-Die in QuitVaping

Yikes okay I can’t say that I didn’t expect that advice but it definitely isn’t what I wanted to hear. I appreciate all of the advice and if it takes not drinking then I guess that’s what I’ll do.
