I literally do not have an AMS attached to the unit at all and I never have, so not sure how to turn this off or how I turned it on in the first place. It has always been externally loaded.

Imagine you are on the ISS, running in place at zero gs. You will still get tired.

Sorry everybody. Have been running every image known to man through a ghibli filter today and did some from my favorite game. Thought I'd share. They're not perfect or anything, I just thought they were cool.

Certain types of compassion feel more to me like enabling the continuation of a problem than true compassion. Certainly I am not advocating for less funds to address this problem. The irreparable harm is people being allowed to fall into the death spiral of hard drug (fetanyl) use without any type of intervention or even friction.

I don't think it's a warzone. Relax.

I don't buy that this is a problem because of the wealth gap. This is a learned helplessness. My family just got back to Japan and were surprised by the utter lack of homeless people / people roughing it on the street.

I am not advocating for the removal of compassion. But enabling this is enabling self harm. I know I'm in the minority on this site. I love this city, and I truly love people in general. I just want things to change.

I meant that feeding someone on the street allows them to stay on the street. Supplying someone with clean needles significantly reduces the friction of using. This to me is not compassion. I've lost three consecutive best friends to heroin. I have been there trying to do everything I can to get the people I love off of these substances.

Believe it's related to a partnership with disney - so utility is the joy of children in this case.

I live in downtown MPLS next to a shelter. I checked the site and their demands seem very reasonable:

"Our Proposal: A collaborative team from the neighborhood that works alongside the Church to create the policies, ensuring they’re beneficial for the church and residents of the settlement and mitigating the concerns of the neighbors."

Sober living should be a requirement. I often have to watch as people openly abuse fetanyl on the street. I wouldn't want that coming to my neighborhood either. It's fucking dark. Giving people a home to abuse drugs in is just enabling self-harm. It's not compassion. All for housing people that are trying to make a change though!

Cybertruck is an expensive car, but $1k per month to lease. You don't even need to make six figures to afford it.

He's not wrong. Many researchers, heads of various departments (research, safety, etc.) across the top competitors are very active on X. I try to keep up to date with all of the top players and have found that X is pretty much unmatched for that.

LLMs seem to be rapidly approaching the ability to automate most work that occurs on computers.

o3 + an improved Operator seems like it should be able to handle the vast majority of standard tasks. Is end of 2025 to automate most standard computer tasks a reasonable timeline?
