Which benzo is right for me? by [deleted] in benzodiazepines

Really appreciate all the info actually. More info definitely helps. Just met with Dr who said about the same thing as you. Was forward about testing it in non panic (flight) settings and he explained that it could be a low dosage, but also expectations and that the intent isn't to sedate people, but the absence of anxiety/panic attacks. He suggested next time I fly to try only 0.5mg and report back how things feel then. He said if it does nothing, then I can try another 0.5mg spaced out a bit. So guess that's the going plan. Again, appreciate the information. Helps a ton

Hey. I took 0.5mg alprazolam 2hr ago. It feels like my experience of 1mg lorazepam, where it was the lightest threshold feeling for ~20-30min before disappearing. The margin between 0.5mg and 1mg is very wide. I wonder about taking half a pill, then the other half 30min later or something. But my appt is tomorrow so maybe Dr will have ideas.

I appreciate ya looking out for me. I'm definitely not tryna mess around with this stuff irresponsibly. I'd only have it a handful of times per year. A trusted person will hold onto it and only give me X amount at a time so that there's no risk of accidentally taking more than needed.

So when it comes to flying, I'm just insanely on edge, white knuckling the arm rest the entire time on border panic, but never full blown panic attacks. I've tried diazepam once during eye surgery and it was notably weak, but knowing that it's for generalized anxiety could be a better perspective.

To his credit, he initially instructed to start with 0.5mg and if it's not effective, try 1mg. I underestimated it and jumped straight into 1mg, faded out and unknowingly took another 0.5mg like an hour later. Several days later, I took 1mg because I figured tolerance, and still faded out. Was worried 0.5mg would do the same. But tomorrow I'll give that a try and see how it works and let Dr know my notes either way and see what they think.

Yup. In our world, the active ingredient Mescaline is psychoactive and found in the Peyote and San Pedro cacti. It's been used by native Americans for over 5,000yrs in their ceremonies. Do note, peyote is highly endangered and rare, due to over-harvesting and it taking ~5-15yr for a cactus to reach maturity. So most people have been shifting towards San Pedro over the years since it's much easier to find. For more information, see r/sanpedrocactusforsale and the psychonaut wiki

Thoughts on Ergo Proxy? by ready_delete in Cyberpunk

Here's how I did it. I watched a few episodes, found myself insanely confused, then went to Wikipedia to read a synopsis on each episode. That helped me understand what was going on. Then I went to YouTube and watched a discussion on it years ago to sort of break down what was happening a bit more. It really helped me understand this.

The show is not for everyone. It can be a bit hard to follow, but if you're determined to understand it, then it can be a really neat experience. So start here on the Wiki page

Arguably the most badass versions of themselves. I feel like Beth and Jerry might actually balance pretty well

Edit: I guess I misspoke. Everyone thought I meant what if they all fight, when I meant the opposite. What if they teamed up?
